Introduced in 1991 as Porsche's flagship 911 model, the 964 Turbo featured aggressive wide bodywork, a familiar Tea Tray rear spoiler, and an upgraded version of the 930’s venerable 3.3-liter turbocharged engine. This 1992 example is one of just 836 examples sold outside of the U.S. (RoW) and comes finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over dark blue leather upholstery. Originally delivered through Centre Porsche Genève in Switzerland, this well-presented Turbo is now being offered for auction out of Monaco with approximately 109k kilometers (~68k miles) showing on the odometer.
Compared to the contemporary Carrera, the 964 Turbo features widened bodywork, a distinctive Tea Tray rear spoiler, aero mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. This example is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic and equipped with European-spec bumpers and side markers, an electric sunroof, and 17” Cup Design wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps. The seller notes much of the car was refinished in 2015 for cosmetic purposes. Detailed images and paint meter readings are provided in the gallery.
Inside, the cabin presents dark blue leather upholstery. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows and mirrors, a central locking system, and an onboard computer integrated into the central tachometer. All gauges and electronics are confirmed to be working properly.
The 964 Turbo is powered by an upgraded version of the 930’s turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six engine including a revised air intake and exhaust, revised Bosch Motronic programming, a 50% larger intercooler, and an improved K27 turbocharger with 0.7 bar maximum boost. A factory-rated output of 315 HP and 332 lb.-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller adds that a fresh service will be carried out in preparation for the sale.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, an air pump, a battery charger, and sales literature.
The seller would like you to know: “Very honest and genuine 964 Turbo 3.3, original conditions, well maintained. has undergone a last service in 2023 and a new one will be performed prior to delivery. The car has undergone a cosmetic repaint around 2015 but the roof and other sections still show its original paint.”
