Available for auction is this 1992 Cadillac Brougham finished in Platinum over a Gray leather interior. Cadillac began using the Brougham name in 1916, and would use it for various cars throughout the century up until 1987 when it became a standalone model. This 1992 example represents the final model year of the Brougham and was originally purchased from Thompson MacConnell Cadillac of Cincinnati, Ohio. It is said to have received regular service under the care of its original owner up until it was acquired by the seller. It came factory equipped with the Brougham Option Package B, leather seating, wire wheel covers, a Platinum Metallic vinyl roof, and much more. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Ohio while showing just over 34k miles on its odometer.
In 1990 the Brougham received a minor facelift which included composite headlights, updated taillight lenses, flush bumper moldings, lower body moldings, and a standard vinyl roof. This example comes finished in Platinum with a Platinum Metallic vinyl roof and red pinstriping. The seller notes that the top and finish remain very well preserved showing only minor scratches on the front passenger door and front bumper. A collection of detailed images can be found in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. It rides on a set of 15” steel wheels equipped with polished wire covers and dressed in new Vogue tires.
Inside, the seats are upholstered in Gray leather with matching door panels and carpets and accented by woodgrain trim. Amenities include electronic climate control, power windows and door locks, an AM/FM cassette stereo, 6-way power adjustable front seats, cruise control, illuminated vanity mirrors, Twilight Sentinel headlights, and much more. Photos of the original window sticker are available for reference displaying a comprehensive list of features and options. The seller states that the cabin remains very well preserved showing slight creasing on the driver’s seat, and confirms that all gauges, electronics, and accessories remain functional with the exception of the radio.
Power comes from a 5.0L fuel-injected Chevrolet V8, which produced as much as 170 HP when new. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 4L60 4-speed automatic transmission. The Brougham comes equipped standard with speed-sensitive power steering, electronic level control, and power-assisted front disc brakes. The original owner is said to have carried regularly scheduled service.
This sale will include the owner's literature, a window sticker, and a clean title.

@Hembz6 they pull the fuse because the plastic dowel (like a weed whacker string and spool) breaks loose from the tip of the extended antenna, rewinds on the spool when the radio is turned off and the antenna now needs to be replaced. $3-400 repair. I’ve traded out 100 of these in Cadillacs.
Bid in the amount of $9,000
@NYCaddyDaddy I never messed with the radio I was told they usually pull a fuse or disconnect the radio/ antenna due to them running while the car is off it was Something I wanted to have checked but didn’t get around to it. Last time the a/c was used it worked well it was not converted.
Bid in the amount of $8,250
Quick question, I assume the power antenna does not work? Do you know what the issue is with the radio? Also does the air conditioning work (r12 or 134a conversion)? Thanks!
Thank you @NYCaddyDaddy
