I live in California. The laws here are screwy about engine replacements. Is this the original engine?

@SPHalliday Correct. Insurance paid ex-Owner. Then sold it to the market. Current Owner bought it and refurbished it to a good / great level. No structural damage. VERY VERY Fun and Pleasant to Drive.
Am I under the correct understanding that the reason this vehicle's title is branded is only because of an engine fire and there was no structural damage from a collision?

@Check_61 insurance claim after engine had a small fire. Insurance company paid. Became owner and Sold it. Engine received the Love needed and an additional life opened. New Chapter opening maybe today. And You can choose to be the writer. ✍🏻 Really great Rig, extremely Nimble and Fast and Fun to Drive. Next Owner will be VERY Happy.
