The 964 generation marked a major evolution for the Porsche 911, introducing a 3.6L twin-plug flat-six engine. This U.S.-market 1991 Porsche 964 Carrera 4 Coupe is finished in Guards Red and paired with a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle and a rear-wheel drive conversion. It has been customized with a sunroof delete, an RS-style rear wing, BRAUM Racing seats, a Sparco steering wheel, a roll cage, racing headers, RSR-spec camshafts, MCS coilovers, upgraded brakes, modified exhaust, and more. Modified for the driving enthusiast, this Carrera is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.
This 964 has been refinished in its factory-specified shade of Guards Red and features optional headlight washers and a rear window wiper. Modifications include a sunroof delete, an RS-style rear wing, and two-tone aftermarket wheels with staggered-width Nexen N5000 plus tires showing 9/32nds of tread. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black interior has been customized with BRAUM Racing seats with harnesses, a detachable Sparco steering wheel with a yellow 12 o’clock marker, a roll cage, and RS-style door pulls. The seller notes a crack on the dashboard, and the vehicle is not equipped with a radio or air conditioning.
The air-cooled 3.6-liter M64 flat-six engine is paired with a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle. The original all-wheel-drive system has been converted to rear-wheel drive, with the seller noting a reduced weight of 2,800 lbs and a dyno-verified output of 272 HP. The seller adds that the original engine and transmission have been overhauled, while upgrades include RSR-spec camshafts, racing headers, and a modified exhaust. An MCS coilover suspension system was installed, along with upgraded brakes. Documentation is said to accompany the sale.
This sale will include a clean title and additional documentation.
The seller would like you to know: “Step into the world of automotive excellence with this fully built and heavily modified 1991 Porsche 964. Dressed in iconic Guards Red, this one-of-a-kind masterpiece combines unmistakable Porsche design with modern performance upgrades, delivering a thrilling driving experience that’s second to none.”

What a fascinating example. This is a driver's spec 964 due to its modifications, but there are plenty of us drivers out here. I'm watching with interest!
