One of the most sought-after 911 generations, the 964 introduced significant advancements over its predecessor, including improved aerodynamics, power steering, a modern climate control system, and a redesigned suspension. This 1991 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 comes finished in Guards Red over black upholstery and features an optional limited-slip differential. Showing under 95k miles on the odometer, this well-presented C2 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
This Carrera was ordered in traditional Guards Red (L80K) and rides on 16” Design 90 wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires from 2014. Equipment also includes fog lights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, an electric sunroof, and black trim. Very minor signs of road-going wear are noted, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the driver is greeted with black leather upholstery. Factory equipment includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Comfort Seats, cruise control, and an amplifier system. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order.
Rated at 247 HP, the air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine drives the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed G50 manual transmission and an optional limited-slip differential. The seller adds that a complete engine reseal was performed at 75,325 miles, and consistent maintenance has been carried out since.
This sale will include a clean title, a recent smog certificate, service records, and owner’s manuals.
The seller would like you to know: “Clean 5-speed, 95k miles, sunroof, excellent condition, no issues! The great care this Porsche has received is reflected in its excellent mechanical and cosmetical condition. The car runs very well, shifts and brakes with complete confidence. The body is in excellent condition with excellent paint and proper panel gaps. The interior is also in excellent condition showing minimal wear. Overall, this is a solid, reliable 964 without issues and is ready to be enjoyed.”

There are no leaks (no puddles), just the normal weeping from valve covers etc. The car shows very little wear as shown in the 70 + photos and the video test drive. This car runs great and is ready to go. The only item I would address is to put new tires on it. Other than that it is ready to go with no issues.

Gorgeous 964. Any leaks, drops or seepage? How significant is the road wear? GLWTA!
@SCARSGOS4 Missed that! Thank you for catching it and clarifying.
@JMarion Looking at the invoices, it looks like the clutch was done 4/24/12 at 75,325 miles by European AutoHaus in Spokane, WA

@NoSub72 Yes. Or late 91. But PCARs description mentioned this car already had them which was wrong - and they edited the listing.
Looking at the invoices, the clutch is original.

@PorschePhanatic I thought the cup mirrors were first offered on 1992 models.
@UpNorthMN I will post new pictures of the undercarriage tomorrow.
@andycoyle Looks like PCar edited their incorrect content description.
Thanks
Thank you. Could you share better pictures of the underside of the 964?
The 964 has extensive receipts including a reseal at 75k mileage. We believe the clutch has been replaced and are trying to verify that now.
Can you tell us how much service history you have on the car? Could you share the reseal receipt? Any clutch or engine rebuild history?
@PorschePhanatic I don't know. I am told the mirrors on the car are stock and original.
The listing has been updated.
Can you clarify - The 1991 model year introduced a new aerodynamic Cup mirror design derived from the 911 Turbo,
I don’t see aero mirrors on the car.
