Available for auction is a tremendous and exceptionally rare Mobil 1 event sign with a fascinating history. Originally displayed at the Hockenheimring motor racing circuit in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, this sign was used during the Porsche Supercup series in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Remarkably well-preserved, it was likely an internal display piece. Constructed from aluminum, the individual letters are mounted on an aluminum rail for easy wall installation as a single unit. 
Originally lit with fluorescent tubes, the sign has been upgraded to professional-grade LED lighting, making it energy-efficient and conveniently "plug-and-play" with just one connection required. It works globally with a simple adapter, which will be included for either European or U.S. usage. Measuring over 8 feet in length, just under 22” in height, and approximately 6” in depth (including the rear support frame), this piece is a striking and functional collector's item ready for its next home.

Hello everyone,
Just managed to obtain an estimate from FedEx and the cost came in at just under $650 for delivery to the USA.
On top of the shipping price would be the bespoke wooden crate at around $400 which effectively means it would be best to budget for $1,000 shipping costs in total.
I am more than willing to organise the crate production and deal with all the shipping arrangements but the buyer is also most welcome to organise the shipping as well just in case a better rate is obtained.
If anyone has any additional questions then please do not hesitate to ask.

I just wanted to let you know that worldwide shipping is most welcome and I am able to assist with all aspects of the packaging and shipping with the likes of FedEx.
Due to the sheer size of this sign, it would be best to send it in a bespoke wooden crate which would also ensure its protection. I can organise a crate to be manufactured for approximately $400.
FedEx offer a door-to-door delivery service (business and residential) for shipping crates and they are very competitive. Due to the holiday season having just ended, reduced shipping rates are still to be announced as FedEx have been operating premium rate services only during this period. As of the second week of January the rates are scheduled to drop back to normal so I have been told.
