Originally delivered as a European-specification car to the Japanese market, this 1990 Porsche 964 Carrera 4 Coupe came factory-finished in Oak Green Metallic. It was imported to the United States in 2020 after it had undergone a long-hood backdate transformation in Japan including an RSR-style bumper, ducktail spoiler, a custom interior, Turbo brakes, upgraded suspension, a limited-slip differential, and several engine performance parts. Showing approximately 91k kilometers or 56k miles on the odometer, this one-of-a-kind 964 is now being offered for auction out of Florida.
This 964 has been completely refinished in its factory Oak Green Metallic color and was subject to a classic long-hood nose conversion along with the installation of an RSR-style front bumper, custom front lip, and ducktail rear spoiler. The original European side marker lights have been retained and chrome door handles have been fitted along chrome mirrors, headlight rings, and racing hood straps. Some small cracks are noted in the paint on the left front fender as well as some chips on the rear decklid grille. The car rides on a set of OZ Futura wheels dressed in new Falken Azenis tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The green and black interior has been lined with all-new carpeting and equipped with a Saito half cage along with a pair of Recaro SPG bucket seats. The rear seats and radio have been removed and a three-spoke Alcantara MOMO steering wheel has been installed in addition to Rennline aluminum floorboards, drilled pedal covers, RS-style door panels, and a Schroth 5-point driver’s safety harness.
Rated at 247 HP stock, the air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine has been upgraded with a Gruppe M carbon fiber air intake, custom headers, titanium exhaust, and a lightweight flywheel. All four wheels are driven through a 5-speed G50 manual gearbox and an ATS limited-slip differential. Upgraded 964 Turbo “Big Red” Brembo brakes have also been installed along with H&R coilovers, an FVD front strut brace, and Rennline camber plates. A new steering rack has been installed and a full service was recently completed including all new fluids. The seller states the factory ABS system is inoperable and that the throw-out bearing will need to be replaced in the future.
This sale will include some documentation and a clean title.

@MattJames It doesn't need a throw-out bearing at the moment, once in awhile when the car has been sitting it makes a noise it may need replacement in the future it may not once the car has regular usage
@chuckent Hood operates with just the latches
Bid in the amount of $62,000
This is such an awesome build! The guys at RMC Miami have a great repuation, I would bid with confidence on any of their inventory. Cheers!
Does the hood close and open with the latch or just the external straps only?
How much realistically would it cost for the throw out bearing to be repaired?
@chuckent Swirl Pot acts as an External Secondary Fuel Tank Used to Eliminate Starvation Under Low Fuel Conditions and under heavy cornering if you ever wanted to take this car to a track or some canyon carving.
@NineThirty The red U bolt is a tow hook, the tank in the front is a fuel swirl pot the car is indeed very nice thanks
the red u bolt appears to be a tow hook. An odd place for one, no doubt. The tank in front is a swirl tank I believe. The question is, why is it there?
nice car,
at minute 1.32 of the video the instrument panel shows 5 red idiot lights on,
what is this about?
many thanks,
Nice car. Couple of questions What is the red u bolt attached to the exhaust in pic number 94 used for? What is the canister in pic 81 is that a air tank? What is that for

@sportscarguy3 none of the factory exhaust stuff comes with the car but i am certain you could find that stuff second hand. Car hasn't been tracked in this rendition.
Bid in the amount of $38,500
Are any of the factory exhaust parts included in the sale
I’m confident it would not pass California smog as is, having just gone through this with an aftermarket stainless steel custom exhaust on my 2003 911 / 996 TT
Totally dig the color and the backdated look though
Has the car been tracked frequently in its new rendition?
