Available for auction is this 1989 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet finished in Black over a Black and Cashmere Beige partial leather interior. One of approximately 600 Cabriolet versions sold in the United States for the final model year, this 1989 Porsche 911 Turbo marks the only year the 930 was offered with a 5-speed G50 manual gearbox. Having undergone a recent engine and turbocharger rebuild, this 930 has been cared for by the same owner for nearly two decades and is now being offered for auction out of California showing approximately 184k miles on the odometer.
This 930 is finished in Black with a matching cabriolet soft top. It rides on factory 16” Fuchs wheels in a custom chrome finish dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires. Equipment includes wide Turbo-specific bodywork, a Tea Tray rear spoiler, a front chin spoiler, fog lights, and a dual exhaust outlet. The CARFAX report shows “severe damage” sustained in January 2016 and the seller states that after being repaired, the car was fully repainted using a high-quality Glasurit finish. One paint blemish is noted on the rear spoiler, additional images are provided in the gallery along with the full CARFAX report.
The Black and Cashmere Beige partial leather interior features power seats, a 3-spoke 930S steering wheel, and an aftermarket radio. The original steering wheel and radio are said to accompany the sale and all gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to be working properly.
This 930 is equipped with a turbocharged and intercooled 3.3-liter flat-six engine that produces up to 282 HP and 289 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a sought-after G50 5-speed manual transmission, which provides smoother gear changes and a more manageable rev range than the earlier 4-speed units. The seller reports both the engine and turbocharger have been rebuilt within the last 5k miles and the car recently passed a California emissions test.
This sale will include a clean title, some documentation, a toolkit, a spare tire, and an air pump.

@rlp2 are we allowed to exchange info here, so we can connect and view the vehicle?
Fresno, California. Just about any time.
@rlp2 Where and when, can I see the car?
@wickedmotorworks I would hate to see this great car turned into a clone although I do love 89 Speedsters. I have offers at 90k I am considering. As to the miles I have an 87 sunroof 930 that I have driven 250k plus and it is still going strong.
We need a speedster conversion candidate, and this vehicle may be a good candidate, but I agree, $75-77k is all the money for the accident & miles. And a turbo speedster would be very cool
@countryclubfl if if and buts were candy and nuts, we’d all have enough for a party
If she didn’t have high mileage
If she wasn’t previously wrecked
If I was was in Florida I’d be warm ?
75 is all the money imo and you know what opinions are worth
@Johnnyfast respect your opinion but 100 isn't unreasonable either, if this didnt have the mileage and stories its well over 200k.
Its very clean for those miles, obviously it was taken very good care of, Tempting, Its the right color, But the miles EEEWWFFF
75K seems right for this example

The 1989 930 gear box is a g50/50 upgraded from the Carrera g50 similar but more robust.
I will upload photos of the undercarriage and engine and turbo re-build tonight. I am putting the car on a lift today to take the needed photos. Thanks for your comments.
@rip2
Who doesn't love a black 1989 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet? Would you be able to show the receipts for the engine and transmission re-build? Thank you!
I will have photos taken of bottom of car and cold start and driving video uploaded. Car has been a daily driver before and after the accident. Not perfect and my reserve reflects that fact.
With damage that extensive, undercarriage pics are a must, especially on a cab. Also corner weights and any recent alignment results would be helpful.
ACCIDENTS hurt and High milage Lets see where this goes .I think a Car like this would do better at a no reserve or a very realistic one ,GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE BIDDERS .i may jump in..
Those accident photos hurt my eyes to look at, but it appears everything has been fixed beautifully. The remainder of the photos look great. Good luck with the auction!
