@Bergman you are more than welcome to your opinion! And if you wanted the car yes you should have! Have a happy new year
@PCARMARKET It was updated, you guys were slow or dealer too quick to crow. You guys are lucky I didn't hit the button!
@Bergman you cannot hit the buy now button, you have a stale page. try the refresh button. thank you.
@PorscheBeachwood Or is that just dealer speak, car not actually sold?
@PorscheBeachwood If I hit that "BUY NOW" button now will you be in a situation?
@PorscheBeachwood Why can I still "BUY NOW" on the system?
@Bergman well the car is now sold and going to a new home... thanks for bidding!
Sold for $90,000
@PorscheBeachwood That market was $77,750/$95,000... that was a FACT. Bid improved and I have stated that FACT. And you say $119k offer wasn't dreaming? Market thinks you were.. FACT.
@Bergman "For clarity folks, the market on this car is $77,750/$95,000.. Wide but real !" Until midnight, PCars comment about the car going home today is still valid, while all of your comments are simply not true nor constructive...especially from a non-bidder. We sell thousands of Porsche's a year, but you're probably right that we have no idea about the market.

@Porsche_Man yes
Wondering why no under bonnet option code sticker. Also in interested if the copy is in the warranty booklet.
@Bergman this is irrelevant, we have worked with the seller to set an extremely fair reserve price. Some buyers lose vehicles because they play this reserve guessing game. It is safe to say this vehicle is going home with someone today so bid bid bid!
Not near the dealer advertised price of $119k
@PorscheBeachwood - Is the white option sticker in the warranty booklet?
I’m personally a little disappointed in the comments regarding oxidation/rust. This Carrera looks to be well preserved and undisturbed- so much so that the original coating of cosmoline is being mistaken for rust. If I was personally in the market for a G50 911 this is exactly what I’d want to see. The fact that the vin tag is still present and legible on the transmission is a testament to how well preserved this vehicle is. Someone also confused cosmoline for oxidation on the fan. These are details that cannot be duplicated and of someone were to cryo-blast these areas I’m sure that they’d look like new but would no longer be as delivered.
@Porsche_Man No sticker under front hood, however we do have all the original manuals that came with the car.
Sorry if I missed this, but is the white option tag under the front hood? Are the original manuals included?
Nit picking this car is a waste of energy. Anyone who deserves to own this one knows what's to be expected, how to deal with that, the cost of rectifying that & what they are willing to bid based upon what's been presented here before even signing in.
you are correct very transparent on my thinking but at this point I'm out. GL to the winning bidder!
Bid in the amount of $75,000
Folks - I think we've got a ways to go here
@Porsche_Man No kidding. Painfully transparent.

Bid in the amount of $66,000
Agree with all the comments regarding the underside condition given the low miles. I have an 87 with similar miles and is much cleaner than this. Also, the CV boots looked cracked and will need replacing. The seller is a Porsche dealer you would think they could provide a leakdown test for the auction.
amazing how people post negative comments to keep the bidding down, and still bid.
Bid in the amount of $65,000
Still struggling with the underside condition as it looks more like a 127k mi car with all the dirt and grime yet has cob webs and tires from 95. No service history and accident and hood alignment off. Why wouldn't the seller take the time to fix and prep the car before auction? Guess we will see what happens in 4 hours.. too bad this isnt a no reserve auction!
Bid in the amount of $60,000
The Fan looks pretty corroded for the miles, also the light bar seems newer aftermarket since color doesn’t match the tail lights
@pdebonis7 Yes that can be done here
@PorscheBeachwood so the hood alignment is a simple repair that your dealership could repair at a cost before The future buyer takes delivery?
Thank you

Bid in the amount of $45,000
Bid in the amount of $41,250
Gorgeous example - haven't seen one this nice since the RoseQuartz '85 last year - which I saw live at my local shop after the owners did Bordeaux/Black pepita inserts w/black dash and door belts...
Bid in the amount of $41,000
Bid in the amount of $40,000
@dacrab The previous owner who had the car since 1995 just did not drive it much at all. The current tires are also dated from 1995 and will keep these for the new owner. The current tires have good tread but are out dated and this is why we are replacing them.
@Nein9 Does the AC and heat work as designed? yes, both work
Any leaks after sitting? very small leak. there are a few drops on under the car after the car has been sitting for two weeks.
Do all the interior and exterior lights work? All the lights work except for the two interior lights on the headliner.
Does the clock work? does not work
no signs of paint work on the front end. only paint work area we can tell is the rear bumper. Carfax is a great tool but doesn't mean it is 100% accurate. Cold start video uploaded and should be posted soon.
The misaligned hood is due to the rubber seal that keeps moisture out. It is flared upward on the passenger side causing the gap. the hood is factory with the vin decal still on it and again no signs of paint work on the front end.
@Froggy618 just our dealer policy. We will sell to Montana clients with an Montana driver license and address
Nice to see mileage history on car fax…but has long gaps of reporting and even number years of 23,000 then 24,000? Seems a little odd
The undercarriage seems pretty dirty and used compared to the rest of the car
Other than some chips, hood align…Overall car looks clean and would be a nice driver!
To me the under body looks like it has a lot more miles on it then 27K.
@pdebonis7 A very low mileage G body with nice factory modifications and interesting color combinations
Obviously a car that’s going to bring some serious interest, 3.2 L motor with what many prefer has the best transmission G 50 rather than G 15
Curious about the hood alignment, minor accident as well as others
My last Targa was a 1983 and I enjoyed the heck out of that car for many many years
Good luck all
Do you have the body and paint work orders? Looking at the paint meters it looks like the driver front fender, front and rear bumpers were painted. Can you if any bondo or rust is present? Thank you
There is significant panel gaps on the front of the hood on the passenger side. Is the hood stock or mis- aligned from the wreck?
The paperwork (manuals, service records ) available or existing is none? Or are are service records stored in Beachwood ‘s maintenance record system.
Bid in the amount of $33,333
Can you provide details regarding "the minor damage" reported in the Carfax? Looks like the front hood does not line up correctly.
Bid in the amount of $26,000
Bid in the amount of $25,000
Why the selling restriction on dealers, entities, LLCs etc registered in Montana?
The 29 and 44 are probably one of the owners way to remember the tire pressures….just as they put the + and - near the battery ….
Bid in the amount of $15,500
Bid in the amount of $15,000
I can hear the saliva glands of the Buckeye faithful worldwide working overtime! Great color combo GLWTS!
@Nein9 we had a big storm today so I was unable to get to the car to confirm your questions. We will be back Monday for videos and help answer some more questions.
Regarding the leak down and compression test when our technician road tested the car there was no mechanical reason to do either test. The 911 drives out strong.
Bid in the amount of $9,111
@PorscheBeachwood will you provide a compression and leak down test?
The car has only been driven a couple thousand miles in 20 years so this would provide more confidence in its current state.
Thank you
Bid in the amount of $1,911
Great presentation
@Nein9 Are there any modifications to the car? None that we can see or tell
What’s the 29 and 44 represent under the rear deck lid and are they painted or marker? just a marker and we don't know the meaning
What are the date codes on the tires? we are putting brand new tires on it since these are from 1995.
Any physical paper service history? none
Last rebuild on transmission or clutch work? none that we are aware of
Any engine work or rebuild? none that we are aware of
Can you post a cold start and driving video? yes, we will post a cold start video today. we had a huge snow storm and won't be able to do a drive video anytime soon
@Nein - as noted in the write up -
‘ The seller states that new tires will be mounted in preparation for the next owner’
