This 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet comes finished in Black over a matching interior. It features the desirable G50 5-speed manual transmission, a power-operated soft top, 16” Fuchs forged alloy wheels, and an updated Blaupunkt Vermont stereo. Originally purchased in New Jersey, this example later spent time in South Carolina and eventually Florida where it remains with its fourth owner. Meticulously cared for and garage-kept, this Carrera is now being offered with less than 55k miles on the odometer.
This 911 was ordered in Black (L700) with a matching convertible soft top. Exterior equipment includes integrated fog lights, clear indicator lenses, black stone guards, polished 16” Fuchs wheels with colored center crests and new Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires. A paint-matched Getty Design RS-style ducktail has been fitted to the rear end along with removable chrome Porsche lettering. The seller states the right rear quarter panel was previously refinished and that the full exterior has undergone paint correction. A ceramic coating was applied in August 2022 and an accompanying invoice shows a new convertible top purchased in February 2022. One small blemish is noted on the driver's front fender and the seller reports the foglights have been replaced. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The interior is appointed with black partial leather upholstery and features power-adjustable front seats, air conditioning, VDO instrumentation, and an analog clock. Modifications include a Kuhl center vent, an updated Blaupunkt Vermont72 stereo with Bluetooth, and custom Coco floor mats. The seller reports all gauges to be working properly and notes one horn was replaced.
This Carrera is equipped with an air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six which produces up to 217 HP and 195 lb.-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels by way of a G50 5-speed manual gearbox. Upgrades include Elephant Racing lowering rear plates, Turbo tie-rod ends, braided stainless steel brake lines, and Bilstein shock absorbers. Maintenance items carried out before December 2022 included a new clutch slave cylinder, front wheel bearings, rear axle boots, fresh ATE Type 200 Super Gold brake fluid, and an oil and filter change performed with Liqui Moly Synthoil Race Tech GT1 motor oil. Since then, the front hood struts and gear bushings have been replaced. A slight leak is noted from the air conditioning system and the seller adds that leak-down tests as of last year show under 5% for all cylinders.
This sale will include a clean title as well as the original engine lid with a third brake light, steering wheel, convertible top boot, air compressor, toolkit, and indoor car cover.

@monette76 Ed, Thank you for your comments. The car is a joy to drive and the pictures don't do it justice. I am simply selling because of lack storage space and already working on a new Porsche project
