Finished in Guards Red over a Black interior, this 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet is equipped with a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle, optional front and rear spoilers, 16” Fuchs forged alloy wheels, air conditioning, a power convertible top, a central locking system, and more. The car was purchased by the current owner in 2018 with just under 33k miles on the odometer and has since been serviced with a new German canvas convertible top, valve adjustments, new tires, and routine oil changes. With approximately 43k miles on the odometer, this well-preserved 911 Carrera Cabriolet is now being offered for auction out of Maine, accompanied by the original owner’s books, toolkit, a copy of the window sticker, and service records dating back to 1990.
The exterior is finished in Guards Red with a new black German canvas cabriolet top and plastic rear window installed under current ownership. Equipment includes integrated fog lights, factory-optioned front and rear spoilers, heated and power-adjustable mirrors, a power convertible top mechanism, and 16” Fuchs forged alloy wheels. Four new tires were mounted and balanced within the last 6k miles. The seller states that the paint is all original and in very good condition, apart from minor chips on the hood and a small scuff on the front air dam. The Black partial leather interior includes an electric height-adjustable driver’s seat, a leather three-spoke sport steering wheel, power windows, a central locking system, air conditioning, cruise control, Porsche-branded stainless-steel door sills, and a Blaupunkt Reno SQR 46 stereo. The seller indicates all gauges and accessories are fully functional, the A/C refrigerant has been updated, and the original steering wheel is included in the sale.
Rated at 217 HP and 195 lb-ft of torque, the air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine drives the rear wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle. The car is equipped with rack-and-pinion steering, four-wheel independent suspension, and vented disc brakes at each corner. Service records are available dating back to 1990, and the seller notes valve adjustments and routine oil changes were performed during their ownership. All maintenance items are reportedly up to date.
This sale will include the original owner’s manuals, period brochures, a toolkit, a spare tire, a tire inflator, a car cover, service records, the original steering wheel, and a clean title.

$80k is a very reasonable number imo. I was offered $90k for my ‘87 red/blk cab all original 1 owner car w/51k miles.
Local dealer sold an ‘84 blk/blk w/88k miles for $84k..somebody should grab this one if it’s as represented which I’m sure it is.

Beautiful original g50. I have its ‘87 twin all original 1 owner. I’ve owned my share of cars and this is most certainly one of the most fun to drive! Whomever buys it is in a a joy ride! glwta
No leaks, no oil burn unable to provide compression numbers. It's been enough excellent shops,if there was a problem I'd know. All features worked when stored in November. I can postively confirm top works.
I put it down for pics. It's still winter here, car is stored.
A few basic questions...
-any oil leaks?, does it burn any oil?
-I realize that the mileage is low, but do you have compression numbers by chance?
-does everything on the car 'work'?
