Finished in Cirrus Blue Metallic over a gray cloth interior, this 1988 BMW 325 Coupe is a Canadian-market example powered by a 2.7-liter M20 inline-six engine paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. It features optional heated seats, a sunroof, an original stereo, and 14” bottle cap wheels. The car was sold new in British Columbia and was reportedly kept in storage by the original owner from 2008 until 2014 when it was imported to the U.S. by his son in Washington. The car was again stored away from 2018 until 2024 when it was purchased by the selling dealer and refurbished with several maintenance items. Having spent its life under the care of a single-family, this classic BMW is now being offered for auction out of Washington with approximately 187k kilometers (116k miles) showing on the odometer.
This E30 Coupe is finished in Cirrus Blue Metallic complemented by bright aluminum trim on the bumpers, wheel arches, and window moldings. Equipment includes quad headlamps, fog lights, a sunroof, pop-out rear quarter windows, a power antenna, and 14” bottle cap alloy wheels. The brake light bulbs were replaced by the selling dealer and the 185/70 Falken tires have been rotated. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a damage-free CARFAX report.
The grey cloth interior includes optional heated seats, a black four-spoke steering wheel, air conditioning, cruise control, an onboard computer, manual roll-up windows, power mirrors, and a factory sound system. Maintenance completed since the selling dealer’s acquisition includes replacing the driver’s door lock actuator, glove box latch, tachometer circuit board, thermostat gauge, and instrument panel bulbs. All gauges and accessories are said to be working properly. The CARFAX indicates a mileage inconsistency in 2023 which may have resulted from clerical error or a kilometers-to-miles conversion, and the seller contests that the odometer is accurate.
Rated at 127 HP and 170 lb.-ft of torque, the 2.7-liter M20B27 inline-six engine drives the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission. In 2014, the car was serviced with new coolant and power steering fluid, a new oil drain plug, brake pads, and brake rotors. The power steering hoses were replaced in 2018. Under the seller’s care in 2024, the car received a new battery, a front hood strut, an oil service, a new crankshaft position sensor, a new DME module, a new temperature sensor, and a radiator cap seal.
This sale will include a toolkit, a spare tire, and a clean title.

@eunos1990 take a look at the picture gallery for the receipt info on the work I listed
This car has had One family who owned it Father Most of its life in Canada (It was a Canada delivered car which is why its a Kilometers odometer) It was delivered to the Daughter here in Seattle in 2014 and unfortunately no records with it. I had my local BMW expert shop (signature Independent in Kirkland WA) go over the car top to bottom and I spent a little over $3,000 to get the car sorted to be in top flight running order. I will guarantee this and provide all the receipts for the work I am listing here - They assured me it had been very well taken care of and yes there was a Water pump done as they could see it was not the factory one - I had them install a factory Radio - Fix the power antenna unit, Do a complete brake service, Replace the Tachometer guage with an OEM refurbished one, Replace Thermostat (also replaced a worn cap seal ) a complete flush and fill of the cooling system, Replaced the drivers door lock mechanism as it was sticking from time to time, installed a new Battery, Installed new CPS and performed timing service and replaced the crank sensor, replacement of the Motronic DME and a complete tune service - when the daughter received the car in 2014 before storing it she had all new brake pads and sensors installed and an oil change and new power steering fluid - $520 of work - receipt will be provided - I happen to be a BMW Enthusiast myself and after putting all this money into the car I have been driving and enjoying the car but I have too many other cars and its time to part with it -
Very nice condition! Having owned a similar one (5-spd, Zinno over Natur) many years ago, I recall recommended timing belt/water pump service at 50k intervals. I don't see any records or info regarding these, and considering the amount of time in storage, there might be concern for potential buyers about the age/condition of these components. Can you advise? GLWTA!
