We are pleased to present this collector-grade 1987 Porsche 944 Turbo finished in Guards Red over a black leather interior. Originally sold from a dealership in Connecticut, this 944 was purchased by its second owner in 1988 who meticulously cared for this vehicle until this year, adding less than 1k miles along the way. Remaining in outstanding all-original factory condition showing approximately 3k miles on the odometer, this exemplary 1987 example makes the perfect addition to any world-class Porsche collection.
The seller states that the iconic Guards Red finish is in excellent original condition. Paint meter reading are provided in the photo gallery and only the right headlight cover seems to read higher than all other panels. The seller indicates that this 944 has been garage kept and diligently maintained throughout its entire life. Noteworthy features include distinctive pop-up headlights and factory “phone dial” alloy wheels which come dressed in General G-Max tires with plenty of tread life remaining.
Inside, the all-original black leather interior is said to be in excellent condition. This 944 comes factory equipped with air conditioning as well as power adjustable seats, power windows and power mirrors. No modifications have been made and the seller confirms all gauges, electrical components and accessories to be fully functional.
This 944 carries its original 220 HP 2.5 L inline 4-cylinder turbocharged engine which is mated to a number’s matching 5-speed manual transmission. Having been kept up to date on all due maintenance, this 944 underwent a major service four years ago which included the following items.
This year the timing belt was readjusted, and a recent standard service was performed. Just over 3k miles from new, this 944 Turbo is said to be in excellent running order.
The sale of this unique example will include one master key, original books and tools, detailed service records and a clear title. A truly incredible find, this all-original low mileage 944 Turbo is sure to satisfy even the most discerning Porsche collector.

She’s gorgeous. I have the same car in India Red and am excited to see the values creeping up. These are wonderful machines; pure Porsche, and won’t continue to be overlooked for much longer.

@tflood Have not done a compression test certainly can.
Did a leakdown test all cylinders were less than 3% . The motor runs perfect with no blowby
The second owner (of 30 yrs) ran the car monthly to temp.
It has not used oil but is not driven much
PPI's are welcome
was a compression check run? If so what are the numbers and m/o? 3k is not alot of miles, and would be concerned with valve seating and rings from non-use. How is oil burn rate?

Hey JJ
I do not have the window sticker. I do have the purchase order from when the second owner bought the car. I have some service records but the car was only driven 900 miles in 32 years so not a lot of service was necessary. Will post what I have tomorrow
@Dan_Jacobs , Are the original bill of sale, window sticker, previous service records, etc available? Thanks.
