Launched for the 1987 model year, the S4 variant of the Porsche 928 features improved aerodynamic bodywork and a new 5.0-liter V8 engine. This inaugural-year example is finished in Silver Metallic over Burgundy leather upholstery and equipped with a 4-speed automatic transaxle, automatic climate control, an electric sunroof, heated power seats, and 16” forged aluminum wheels. The car has reportedly been cared for by a single owner; originally registered as a company car before it was transferred to their name in 1999. Benefitting from a recent timing belt and water pump replacement, this 928 S4 is now being offered for auction out of Massachusetts with approximately 151k miles on the odometer.
Compared to earlier 928 models, the S4 version features a more aerodynamic rounded nose and a black polyurethane rear spoiler. This example is finished in Silver Metallic and equipped with pop-up headlights, headlamp washers, integrated fog lights, body-colored side moldings, an electric sunroof, a rear window wiper, and 16” forged aluminum wheels. The cabin is appointed with Burgundy leather upholstery and matching carpets. The seller notes a slight separation of a headliner wiring cover.
The fuel-injected 5.0-liter V8 DOHC engine delivers a factory-rated output of 316 HP and 317 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transaxle. The seller notes the car has been serviced by Stuttgart Northeast over the past 10 years including a timing belt and water pump replacement in 2023 approximately 100 miles ago. An extensive collection of maintenance records is included with the sale.

The receipt shows good maintenance work @Silverstone but I believe it’s giving evidence that the odometer isn’t working.
The mileage shown in the photos and video is exactly the same (150,767) that was recorded on the maintenance receipt from nearly two years ago.
Unless all of the photos and video are also a couple years old??
@996Roadtrip the receipt that I posted was for $13,000 but I have another two to $4000 receipt from right around the same time. I am still going to ask her to see if she can take photographs of everything she’s got given that she’s had it since day one.

Car was purchased by her company and then transferred to her personally in 1999. Same owner. I am out west at the moment but will see if she can take a picture of the service records. Last service was about $16,000 and I will post that receipt.
Do you have pictures of the service records for the past 5-10 years? Also noticed the ownership change in 1999 was this to you so technically 2 an owner car for the next person? Thanks!
