@Lottacars thank you for your question. Unfortunately we do not have a paint meter or run our vehicles through a paint meter process. Having said that, we have over 60 years of combined experience in appraising, assessing and buying rare collectibles and exotic vehicles. There is no indication of paintwork on the body of the vehicle. As stated before the fit and finish on this 930 for its age is absolutely exceptional. In our professional opinion it looks as if the whale tail was refinished once when the third taillight was removed. This was not only done for aesthetics but looks as if it was done also to accommodate the upgraded higher capacity intercooler. An additional thought on this auction is that no one is in danger of owning this well kept 930 at this bid level. This investment quality 930 turbo is in unbelievable condition on top as well as underneath and will be sold at a fair market value price. Thank you all for your questions, interest and happy bidding!
Engine start videos?
Paint readings???
I see 3rd brake light was removed looks better. I assume it was the ugly one on the rear turbo spoiler. Great looking 930 and some nice upgrades
Series of paint meter readings would be helpful. Is that something you might have available?
@jupitercarguy Thanks. Paint readings please
@Lottacars Thank you for your interest, bid and question on the Porsche 930. According to the CarFax and the service we commissioned, this 930 has been serviced 5 times since the year 2000. Since that time the vehicle has only accumulated roughly 1,500 miles. Once we received the 930 we had a mechanical inspection completed. The car was in phenomenal shape and you could tell it was always garage kept and well maintained. Having said that we did a complete mechanical inspection which required some minor repairs (hood struts, AC). At that time we also commissioned a fresh service. After that was finished we sent the car for a complete detail which is reflective of its well maintained history and pristine condition today. This is an investment quality 930. Bid with confidence!!
Yes and sorry difficult to get to a big number without those receipts and other maintenance history Where was the work done on the car?

@JD458 thank you for commenting on our vehicle. It’s an extremely nice example of a 930 turbo. the fit and finish inside, outside and underneath are unbelievable on this pristine 930. It is an absolute show stopper! Unfortunately we do not have the original receipts for the installation of the intercooler and exhaust. Having said that you can tell by the expert quality of installation and the patina of both items that they are from the late 1980’s. Thank you for your interest. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Very nice car. Do you have any measurements of the paint thickness? Also do you have a copy of the dealer installed exhaust and intercooler bill? Thank you.
@chizchiz thank you for the question. It is the numbers matching engine. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions.
Is the engine numbers matching as well?
I think I might need this....
Beautiful
