The Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifoglio, a special edition of the renowned Alfa Romeo Spider, is celebrated for its elegant Italian styling and lively performance. Powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, this 1987 example is finished in red with a grey leather interior. It comes equipped with an independent front suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, a black soft top, 15” alloy wheels, air conditioning, and more. Showing under 26k miles on the odometer, this Spider Quadrifoglio is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
This example is finished in red and features a black soft top, front and rear spoilers, body-color bumpers with black rubber accents, side skirts, and a four-leaf clover emblem on the rear, signifying its Quadrifoglio trim level. It has electric mirrors, chrome headlight rings, and dual side mirrors. It rides on 15” hole-slot alloy wheels, with a full-size spare stowed beneath the trunk floor liner. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report indicating damage in May 1991.
The interior features seats upholstered in grey leather with red accent stitching, complemented by red carpets and floor mats. It has power windows, vent windows, door pockets, a pull-out glove box, Jaeger instrumentation, and a Clarion radio. All gauges and electronics are reported to be in proper working order.
Power comes from a 2.0-liter DOHC inline-four, which delivers a factory-rated 115 HP and 118 lb.-ft of torque to rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. It has an independent front suspension with coil springs and double wishbones, paired with a rear live axle with coil springs, while power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes facilitate stopping power.

Hi great looking car however the engine bay alum and ferrous parts and underbody seems to have a lot of corrosion as though the car was left outside for most of its life and it is reported that all the gauges work however, this s pedometer reads 12 mph in multiple photos when the car does not appear to be moving Any thoughts on these two issues? Thank you.
@wcclassics Your answer is a little vague. Do you have (or can you supply) paint thickness readings?
Bid in the amount of $1,500
Sorry seller I haven’t seen photos beyond comments before. That a little strange. I would ask pcar to put them at the top of your listing. Thanks
Car was recently serviced and runs great, inspections both welcomed and encouraged. The Carfax accident report must have been to a bumper as we can not find any evidence of any panels being repaired or replaced.
Thanks
Scroll down and you will see a lot of photos both in artificial light in the showroom and natural light outside and the undercarriage too
Thanks
Hi classics. Are you going to post some more in depth photos? Hard to tell what the car looks like in this few photos. Underneath shots. Any service records? I’m seriously interested
Hi. What can you share about the accident that occurred? Damage area, extent of damage, repairs performed, etc. Also, any info on mechanical repairs performed? Thanks

Thanks for your interest
Seller, do you have the hardtop? thx
If you've never driven one of these, my goodness, they are So. Much. Fun. And the 15" wheels came only on the Quadrifoglio (makes a big difference). The gear shift seems like it's oriented awkwardly ... ... ... until you drive it. Then you see that it's the perfect position for spirited driving, and you immediately wonder why they're ALL not mounted this way. Don't even THINK about shifting until 4500rpm. Some folks criticize the black rubber spoiler on the back, but I've always loved it. Oh, if I were only living in the US! GLWTA! Someone's gonna get a great car.
Was this the Menendez brothers car?
