Finished in Grand Prix White over a black interior, this 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera began life as a Targa and has been converted into a Carrera using OEM parts along with steel Turbo-look fenders and a rear spoiler. Showing approximately 84k miles on the odometer, this custom-built 911 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey.
This 911 is said to have been converted into a Cabriolet under previous ownership using OEM components and fitted with wide Turbo-look fenders along with a matching front valence and Tea Tray rear spoiler. It was reportedly refinished in its original Grand Prix White color during the body conversion and rides on a set of 17” Fuchs-style wheels dressed in Sumitomo HTRZ3 tires from 2014. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black interior features a period-correct Kenwood cassette stereo and speakers. Some separation is noted on the glovebox in addition to some other minor flaws throughout the cabin. All gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional.
An air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine sends up to 207 HP and 192 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed 915 manual gearbox. The seller reports that limited service history is available, although the car appears to have been well-kept by its previous owner.
This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.

@yoshjgg Thank you for your question. The AC air is cool and the blowers are functional. We did not perform a compression/leak down. We will work on getting a top-up photo. It is an OEM top frame, so fitment is excellent. Thank You!
Can you include a picture of the car in full view with the top up ?
Was there ever a leak down or compression test done ?
Does A/C work and blow cold ?
Good Morning All,
Welcome to the last day of our auction! Thank you for your bids and questions.
@Dario The top is the manual folding style, which functions perfectly. The top itself and back window are in excellent condition. The fenders/wells/wide-body are all steel throughout.
@vvspeedy30 We unfortunately do not have any records. However, we can certainly safely infer that this has been mechanically well-kept. It runs, operates, and drives without issue, leaks, noises. etc.
Best of luck to all bidders. For those looking to make this their first 911, this series of 911 is truly a blast to drive - simple to maintain, easy to drive, and tremendous fun. Let us know if you have any last-minute questions. Thank you!
Hi regarding the fenders and wheel wells are they metal or fiberglass ?
Is the top power ?
