Now available for auction is this 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe finished in Black over a black interior. This 1985 example was purchased by the current owner about 8 years ago from a dealer in Florida at just over 69k miles. It features desirable leather Sport Seats, a limited-slip differential, and has also been upgraded with a short shift kit, Steve Wong performance chip, a Fabspeed exhaust, wider Fuchs wheels, and new Bilstein shock absorbers. With recent service addressed including new brake pads and rotors, a valve adjustment, and transmission rebuild, this Carrera is now being offered for auction by its third owner out of California while showing approximately 82k miles on the odometer.
This 911 is finished in Black and sports a distinctive Carrera rear spoiler, front air dam, and removable vintage-style Heuer decals on the front fenders. The car is said to have always been garage-kept under the current ownership and used as a casual weekend driver. A ceramic coating is also said to have been recently applied, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This Carrera rides on upgraded 7” x 9” Fuchs 16" wheels which have been dressed in new Toyo Proxes T1R tires within the last year.
The Black interior features desirable Sport Seats and has been outfitted with an aftermarket MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, Coco mats, a short-shift kit, and a 917-style wooden shift knob. An aftermarket Pioneer radio has been installed and the seller reports all gauges and accessories to be working properly at this time. The original steering wheel and shift knob are also said to be included with the sale.
This Carrera is equipped with an air-cooled 3.2L flat-six engine paired with a 5-speed 915 manual gearbox with a limited-slip differential. The engine has been fitted with a Fabspeed exhaust, a Steve Wong performance chip, and a catalytic converter for California emissions requirements. A front strut has also been installed along with four new Bilstein Sport shock absorbers. Maintenance carried out under the current ownership includes a valve adjustment, a transmission rebuild with synchronizer repair, fluid and filters changes, an A/C service, and the replacements of the brake pads and rotors. A collection of service records is provided for reference in the photo gallery.
This sale will include a set of owner's manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, and a clean title. For any enthusiast in search of a classic air-cooled 911, this tastefully upgraded and thoroughly serviced Carrera is not to be overlooked.

@jh986s last date of service from Pristine was March 2019..last date of service from Scott's Independent was June 2020
@jh986s yes..initially thought it was the wheels and that why I swapped them out. It turns out it was the rotors needed to be replaced and switched out all the cables etc.
Your receipts don't have any dates on them could you give us a time line when work was done ? One of the invoices page 90 says the right front wheel is slightly bent which may be the reason for the front end shaking, did you rectify?
Also do you have compression and leak down test numbers? Thank you
Beautiful 911! Could you supply a cold start and driving video?
