Originally built for the U.S. military, this 1985 AM General Humvee has undergone extensive modifications following its decommissioning. Powered by a 6.2-liter diesel V8 engine paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case, it is refinished in a two-tone gray and black Raptor Liner over a black interior. Modifications include a new black soft top, custom-fabricated tubular half doors, replacement windshields, LED lighting, aftermarket wheels, aftermarket bucket seats with quilted upholstery, a custom center console, replacement gauges, a GPS speedometer, a full audio system with door-integrated speakers and subwoofers, and much more. This tastefully modified Humvee is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
This example was decommissioned and refinished in textured two-tone gray and black Raptor Liner with horizontal hood stripes. Exterior modifications include custom-fabricated tubular half doors, LED lighting to the headlights, turn signals, and marker lights. Additional upgrades include a new black soft top with clear side and rear windows, replacement windshields, new tailgate hardware, and a locking fuel door. It rides on black-finished aftermarket 20” wheels wrapped in 39.5-inch Kanati Mudhog M/T tires with 1.5-inch wheel spacers. The seller reports a minor blemish on the driver’s side wheel well, detailed images are provided in the gallery.
Inside, the cabin was completely redone with aftermarket bucket seats with black quilted upholstery, a custom center console with cupholders and storage, a MOMO steering wheel, and rubber diamond plate flooring. The Bluetooth audio system includes two 6.5-inch speakers in each door and 8x10 powered subwoofers under the rear seats. The gauges are said to have been replaced approximately 13k miles ago, including a GPS speedometer, and a 24V to 12V converter with USB and 12V plug-ins integrated into the center console.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter diesel V8 engine, which drives all four wheels through a 3-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The seller notes that the front CV axles have been replaced, and the fuel system has been serviced, with a new high-pressure fuel pump and mechanical fuel pump installed. A minor oil leak is noted.
This sale will include a car cover and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This truck is an absolute joy to drive and quite the head turner.”

My friend I met 20 plus years ago lives in Clovis and had a cool sign language handshake that made a “Clovis” sign. It was cool. Just like this hmmmvveee
@DaveWadf Title and registration is through Montana. It can be titled and registered in CA very easily, it's just much cheaper through Montana. It's an 85' diesel so smog does not apply. Any diesel pre 97 is smog exempt.

Is this titled and registered in California? Is it smog-legal for California?
@Cowboy1497 it's dripping from the pan but it's coming from higher up.
@Cowboy1497 Where do you notice the leak? On the ground ?
@Cowboy1497 I don't know where the leak is coming from. It's a very small leak, and I haven't traced it to its origin.
Please provide more details on the minor oil leak. Location of leak?
