One of only 881 Rest of World (RoW) Porsche 930’s produced for the 1984 model year, this 911 Turbo Coupe is one of the few to have made its way to the United States. This 930 comes finished in Black over matching leather upholstery. Stored inside a climate-controlled facility as part of the owner’s private collection for approximately 15 years, this example is now being offered for auction out of Connecticut.
Sporting distinctive wide fenders and a Tea Tray rear spoiler, this Turbo comes finished in Black and features European-specification side markers and bumperettes. It rides on aftermarket 16” Fuchs-style wheels with silver lips and lack-painted centers mounted with Goodyear Eagle tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report noting damage in May 2011.
The cabin is outfitted with Black leather upholstery. Equipment includes a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, VDO instrumentation, a sunroof, power windows, climate control, and a replacement Blaupunkt Monte Carlo MP34 radio. Aluminum pedals have also been fitted. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order.
The RoW-specification 3.3-liter turbocharged flat-six engine delivers as much as 300 HP to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH can be achieved in under 5 seconds. The seller states the vehicle has been well-maintained under their ownership, and service documentation is said to accompany the sale. No outstanding maintenance items have been reported.
This sale will include a clean title and the owner’s manuals.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my auction. I have owned this Porsche 911 930 Turbo for over 15 years in my collection at my private showroom, alongside my other collector cars. The vehicle has received all necessary maintenance and has been kept in a climate-controlled environment.”
