Marking the inaugural year of the Carrera 3.2, this 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet is said to have been originally purchased through Porsche’s European Delivery Program before being imported to the United States where it has remained in California ever since. It comes finished in Grand Prix White and is optioned with a full leather interior, a leather-covered steering wheel, and Fuchs forged alloy wheels. Remaining under the care of its original owner and accompanied by a lifetime of maintenance records, this Carrera is now being offered for auction showing under 31k miles on the odometer.
The body is finished in Grand Prix White (L908) with a black cabriolet top and optional 15” Fuchs forged alloy wheels. Other equipment includes a front valence with integrated fog lights, a headlight cleaning system, a fender-mounted antenna, and power-adjustable side mirrors. The seller describes the paint to be in excellent condition given its age and notes that the convertible top and rear window remain original. New Pirelli tires were installed about three years ago and a ding was previously repaired on the driver’s door. Noted imperfections include a small chip near the front hood emblem and right turn signal light. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features premium Black full leather upholstery (VD) as well as an optional leather-wrapped steering wheel with an extended hub and matching carpet floor mats with Porsche lettering. Accessories include optional cruise control, power windows, air-conditioning, and a sound system featuring an upgraded amplifier and an aftermarket head unit. The seller reports all gauges and accessories to be operational, although the speedometer needle occasionally sticks due to the car’s infrequent use over the years.
An air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 207 HP and 192 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed manual transmission. The car has been fitted with an aftermarket three-point front strut tower brace and the seller states a major service was completed about 9 months ago including new hood and decklid struts. A complete history of service dating back to the original purchase will be included in the sale.
This sale will include the original window sticker and owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, an air pump, a car cover, a battery charger, extensive maintenance records, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “I have owned this car since new in 1984. Since I live on California's central coast my Porsche has never seen any weather extremes. I have tended to all details since new as you will see from my documentation, I have saved everything I collected over the years. I am hopeful this car finds a new owner that will appreciate it as much as I do. Because the car has so much history with me, please ask if you have any specific questions.”

$90,000 Buy it now is not reasonable for this car in my opinion. This car should sell in the high 60's low 70's. Vey nice car... but it will not command that price.
