Part of the FJ60 series that debuted in 1980, this 1983 Toyota Land Cruiser is powered by a 4.2-liter 2F inline-six engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. This example underwent a comprehensive restoration about two years ago and has been refinished in black over a beige interior. It features manually locking front hubs, chrome bumpers and trim, 15” steel wheels, air conditioning, and more. Showing approximately 206k kilometers or 128k miles on the odometer, this FJ60 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
Built with a durable body-on-frame construction, the FJ60 showcases a classic boxy design that offers excellent visibility and a rugged, purposeful look. This example was refinished in black during its restoration approximately two years ago. It features dual round headlamps, chrome trim and bumpers with black end caps and overriders, a locking fuel door, a rear window wiper, and a split tailgate. It rides on 15” steel wheels adorned with chrome hubcaps and wrapped in new BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The interior features front bucket seats upholstered in patterned beige cloth, complemented by matching folding rear bench and door panels. It has a three-spoke steering wheel, a center console, hand-crank windows, a rear window defroster, and floor mats. The air conditioning unit has been recently serviced, and all gauges and electronics are reported to be in proper working order with no warning lights illuminated.
Power comes from a 4.2-liter 2F inline-six engine, which delivers a factory-rated 135 HP and 210 lb.-ft of torque to the rear or all wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The front axle is equipped with manual locking hubs, and front discs and rear drums facilitate braking power.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “The Land Cruiser looks absolutely stunning—just like it rolled off the factory floor! It’s clear that everything was done to maintain that original, factory-fresh look. A perfect blend of vintage charm and modern craftsmanship!”
