Delivered new to Pioneer Porsche of Denver Colorado, this 1982 Porsche 911SC Coupe is finished in Chiffon White over a Beige leather interior. It came factory-equipped with optional sport shock absorbers, Fuchs forged alloy wheels, an electric sliding sunroof, cruise control, and rectangular front fog lights. This 911SC has also been customized with a three-spoke MOMO steering wheel, coco floor mats, body-colored wheel centers, and an upgraded sound system with Porsche Classic stereo (PCCM). The car is accompanied by a stamped original service booklet, a Porsche COA, a Porsche Classic Technical Certificate, documentation dating back to 1986, and a collection of concours sheets including a first-place win at the 1992 Porsche Club North America Concours D’ Elegance. Showing approximately 111k miles on the odometer, this 911SC is now being offered for auction out of Washington.
This 911SC Coupe is finished in Chiffon White (P2) and features 16” Fuchs alloy wheels with matching enters, polished outer lips, and colored Porsche crests. Accessories include aftermarket xenon headlamp bulbs, headlight washers, dual body-colored mirrors, factory-optioned front fog lights, an electric sliding sunroof, and black rear bumperettes. The seller indicates the exterior is in great overall condition and benefits from a ceramic coating, although some stone chips are present on the lower part of the hood. The tires were replaced in 2013. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features Beige (YH) leather with matching carpets and contrasting brown upholstery on the dashboard, headliner upper door panels, and rear shelf. Accessories include a three-spoke MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, custom coco floor mats, power windows, cruise control, air conditioning, a quartz clock, and a locking glovebox. The carpeting was replaced in 2013, and the sound system has been upgraded with a Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) head unit, a 6-channel amplifier, coaxial 2-way plate speakers, a subwoofer, and a digital sound processor.
The original air-cooled 3.0-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 180 HP and 175 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a numbers-matching 5-speed manual transaxle. The seller states that documented records are available for every service performed since 1986 and the engine and transmission were rebuilt in 2010. The ignition control unit, spark plugs, and brakes were replaced at 110k miles along with a valve adjustment.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, service records, a stamped service booklet, a toolkit, a spare tire, a battery charger, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “The car has a Certificate of Authenticity 8/10/1993 and Porsche Classic Technical Certificate 9/22/2022. This car has been well maintained and no expense was spared on the car by any owner. The car was also displayed down at Car Week in Monterey in August 2023 in the Porsche Classic barn exhibit sponsored by Porsche Classic.”

@spunky.goat photo of receipt has been uploaded
@spunky.goat - The engine was pulled but not rebuild, the transmission rebuilt in 9/15/2010. There was no need to rebuild engine. I will posted the reciept of the rebuild. Sorry for the confussion
The auction description states that the engine was rebuilt in 2010, however the response to an earlier question about the engine rebuild states only the transmission was rebuilt. Can you please clarify if the engine was rebuilt and post a photo of the receipt confirming the rebuild?
@twickes40 no leaks and there is no rust on the car and undercarriage is clean. I uploaded photos of the under carriage.
@Kjellschei confirming there is no rust on car and undercarriage is in good condition? Does the engine leak at all?
Good morning and we only have a few more hours left of the auction. I uploaded photos from the questions below and also uploaded my binder of all the service records dating back to 1986. The service booked was stamped up to 1986. The car has new tires tires which are dated 15/22 . This car has always been stored inside and you can tell by the interior and the paint. Please let me know if you need addition photos or have last minute questions. Good Luck to all the bidders, this is a special car which needs to go to good owner.
@Fastbadger Only the transmission was rebuilt and the miles were 100,756 , the engine was pulled and at that time.
@Fastbadger The odometer is correct. I put less than 2k miles on the car since 2012. I only drove it on certain days and a few rally’s to Walla Walla Washington.
@SayAWE911 Hello and good morning. I just uploaded two photos that you are looking for.

Wow……..very tidy fairly orig SC coupe…….my goodness, the visors are hardly shrunk!
could we get a close up of the windshield seal area above the rear view mirror area and roof junction. Hard to see the paint on the distant photo but appears some paint chipping??
Bid in the amount of $25,000
Bid in the amount of $19,820
And secondarily, based on the carfax it looks as though the car has been driven sparingly since 2017 or so. Is that true or is it a bad odometer?
Apologies if I missed it, but what were miles when the engine was rebuilt? And any rust?
@Kjellschei just sent you a message.
Hey @ Kjellschei, just sent you a message with my number.
@Andyjames01 send me your # I can show the car a late afternoon tomorrow
Hey, I sent you a message. I live in Tacoma and would like to come see the car before bidding. Send me a text or emails please.
Very similar to mine. Great car. I would be interested in your original wheel when you find it.
@ninod24 the car was repainted when the Rear black shark tails were removed from the rear fenders. Queen City a authorized Porsche body shop in Seattle WA. did the paint.
@Bruce914 thank you!! Yes the CAT are still on the car.
has it ever been repainted ??
Beautiful SC. Just an FYI, the drive video is very hard to watch with the camera shake (or something). Your phone or camera is focused too close. GLWA.
Very clean. For those of us in Cali - is the CAT still on the car?
@VertexAuto @VertexAuto- I don't think I kept the steering wheel. But I will check my warehouse and see.
@Kjellschei Sorry, one more. Do you have the original steering wheel?
@Kjellschei Thank you. Are they 16x7 and 16x8?
@VertexAuto Yes I have the original Headlamps, The wheels are original 16 inch with Bridgestone tires 205/55 and 222/50 date stamp 15/22 , Pcar has the wrong year for the tires. They were replaced in August of 2022. I hope that helps.. Thanks for the question.
Good Afternoon everyone and welcome to my auction 1982 chiffon White ( aka Boston Whaler). This one will be hard to let go, but excited to share her with the winning bidder. I will be here to answer any questions and I will upload videos and the Service records today. The 911 is located in Seattle at my hangar @KRNT if you want to make arrangements to see her. Thank you again for participanting .
@Mholla101 @Kjellschei Do you have the original headlights? Also, can you confirm that the wheels original and the size? @PcrMarket I think you left out a C on "alloy wheels with matching enters"
Lovely spec. Chiffon is so classy.
Are there photos of the undercarriage as well as service records, esp of the engine/trans rebuild? Any leak/compression tests run? Hoping we can get a cold start and drive video!
Glws! Will be watching intently.
