Available for auction is an iconic and exceptionally rare Rothmans Racing and Porsche illuminated sign clock, a cherished piece of motorsport advertising history from the 1980s. Originally produced in the UK, the seller states this sign clock was used at a prominent motor factory in England exclusively for promotional brand display. 
Measuring approximately 39" in length, 8.5" in height, and 6.5" in depth, the robust aluminum casing allows for versatile display options, including wall mounting (rear mounting holes present), ceiling suspension (original chains included but detached), or freestanding placement. The internal lighting operates on 220V with a stable neon fluorescent tube, ensuring consistent illumination without flickering. 
The clock movement has been recently replaced with a Quartz mechanism, and the gold clock hands were updated to match the originals. Despite minor marks and scratches consistent with age and workshop use, the seller states the overall condition is very good, and the sign presents exceptionally well.

The anticipated cost to ship the sign to the USA would be approximately $250 with FedEx and that would include my own shipping materials. If a bespoke wooden crate was desired then it can certainly be organised for an additional fee (at cost price).
