Available for auction is a late 1980s Ferrari dealership sign. The sign measures approximately 24” x 24” x 2.75” and is made of injection molded plastic. Ferrari retailers and authorized service agents were provided with five different signs in the 1980s. This example of the five was intended to direct clients to the customer parking area.
This sign was never meant to be in the hands of the general public and was never offered for sale through official means. Don't miss your opportunity to own one of the rarest forms of Ferrari signage. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees.

@GT4O It is a thin black plastic backing. Nothing fancy...it does seem to finish it off though when mounted. Thank you for your responsiveness!

That wasn't my auction.
What you're referencing are the official Ferrari installation instructions for their dealerships. You can obviously install them as you wish. The non-illuminated version of the signs particularly, are extremely light and are readily mounted on any surface.
This particular "P" sign has some velcro loop/felt on the back.
The signs themselves, as delivered originally, do not include any additional materials.
