Launched in 1978, the Porsche 911SC replaced both the 911 and Carrera models featuring a 3.0-liter flat-six engine derived from the 1975 911 Carrera 3.0. Offering a removable roof panel for an open-top driving experience, this 911SC Targa comes finished in Grand Prix White over black upholstery and has been modified with a “whale tail” rear spoiler. Acquired by its seller about four years ago, this example is now being offered for auction out of New York with approximately 137k miles on the odometer and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.
This 911SC comes finished in Grand Prix White with a black removable Targa top and has been modified with a Turbo-style “whale tail” rear decklid spoiler. Equipment also includes front fog lights, dual side mirrors, a black-finished Targa bar, a wraparound rear window, and rear bumperettes. It rides on 16” Fuchs wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Exalto N0 tires. Some paint blemishes are noted, and additional images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is trimmed in black leather and vinyl upholstery with Porsche-emblemized floor mats. Equipment includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel, VDO instrumentation, air conditioning, power windows, and an aftermarket head unit. The seller notes some signs of wear on the seats along with a split seam on the passenger's side.
An air-cooled 3.0-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 180 HP and 175 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 5-speed 915 manual transaxle. The seller notes that stainless-steel heater boxes and an aftermarket exhaust system have been installed, the shift-rod coupling was replaced in June 2019, and service items performed throughout 2023 consist of fluid services, a throttle cable lubrication, and starter motor & fuel tensor place replacements.
This sale will include a clean title and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.

Could you please share the results of the PPI performed in January?

I suggest seeing the detailed gallery and video above all throughout as this example is fully serviced down to the brand new Michelin Exalto tires with “NO” codes as to exhibit they are original Porsche tires for this car when equipped with factory Fuchs.
