Offered as a limited-edition model with 408 examples produced for the North American market, the 911SC Weissach Coupe celebrates Porsche’s motorsport division with special paint colors, a unique Doric Grey leather interior, sport shock absorbers, and front and rear spoilers. This example is finished in Black Metallic and optioned with a limited-slip differential, power windows, heated power mirrors, an electric sunroof, and fog lights below the front bumper. It was cared for by two owners before the seller’s purchase in 1990 and benefits from an engine and transmission rebuild completed by Reno Rennsport in August 2024. This rare 911SC Weissach Coupe is now being offered for auction out of Nevada with approximately 203k miles on the odometer.
Designated by internal production code M439, the Weissach Coupe option includes a front spoiler lip and a rear "Whale Tail" Turbo Carrera spoiler. This example is reportedly one of only 200 examples to have come factory-finished in Black Metallic, one of two colors available on this limited-edition model. It comes equipped with optional front fog lights, heated power mirrors, a power antenna, and an electric sunroof. The factory 15” Fuchs wheels were stripped and polished under previous ownership. The seller notes some minor paint touch-ups and several small blemishes around the exterior. The car was professionally detailed and treated with a ceramic coating in 2023. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The Weissach Coupe showcases a special Doric Grey leather interior with Burgundy piping and matching carpets. This car includes Sport Seats, power windows, an updated three-spoke leather steering wheel, a newer Blaupunkt radio, and Porsche 911SC-branded carpet floor mats. The seller states the rear parcel shelf has been replaced, the seats show signs of wear beneath their sheepskin covers, and the air conditioning system does not blow cold. Additionally, a 10-disc CD player has been fitted behind the passenger's seat, and the original steering wheel is included in the sale.
Rated at 180 HP and 175 lb.-ft of torque, the air-cooled 3.0-liter flat-six engine delivers power to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transaxle and an optional limited-slip differential. Uprated sport shock absorbers came standard on the Weissach Edition. The seller notes the engine and transmission were rebuilt by the specialists at Reno Rennsport in August 2024 within the last 200 miles.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, an air pump, a car cover, the original steering wheel, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my auction. I have owned this car for over 34 years and store it in a garage. All maintenance is up-to-date, and the engine and transmission were rebuilt and finished in August of 2024. This is a very rare model with only 57 "survivors" of the original 200 built in the metallic gray (black) color.”

@mcgrath544 , regarding your comment to the seller, I’m not sure where you’re getting the information about the sellers reserve or his asking price
I believe this is a reserve auction, so the seller most likely does have a reserve price that must be met for the car to sell
Also, I believe the reserve might be close to your lower, suggested, realistic selling price
Additionally, if you are looking at the P car market by now price of $85,000, that price includes the sellers reserve as well as their buyers fee of what I believe is 5 % or 10% of the selling price
In other words, the seller would not receive $85,000
Not to ramble on, however, your suggested value, of $50-$60,000, I believe is accurate for the current market, which is unfortunate and frustrating, because these G body older Porsches., not that long ago, could be had for $30,000 not that many years ago
Now, unfortunately, they are the “ in Porsche “ to have And the market reflects that
In closing
Although, I think this is a very interesting Porsche., the interior is just not something I would consider paying top dollar for, however, I’m certain that now that the car is in the deal tank negotiations for a sale could certainly be made for what I would suggest would be a fair price at $48-$50,000
Good luck all
I just believe your asking price is way above what the market for this vehicle is going for. If you really want to sell this you might consider $50-60k is more realistic. I know you love the car, but look around BaT or Haggerty’s. Just giving you some friendly advice. Good luck.

@mjsherwin68 The underneath of the car is in very good condition--no rust or damage.
@Andyjames01 The headliner area is where the controls for the sunroof are located, which take up some space. That is probably what you are seeing--just the control area.
@Singer2020 The paint is original. The headliner area is where all the controls for the sunroof are located so it is probably just the photo angle that makes it appear to be "sagging". We have all the records for the work done on the car for the past 34 years--including a full, detailed statement of the engine and transmission rebuilds (completely rebuilt--not just a "top-off"). I hope this answers your questions.

Hi, couple of questions, is the paint original or repainted? also the headliner seems to be sagging or is it the photo? are there any records of engine rebuild? recondition?
@mjsherwin68 @mjsherwin68, I agree. Would be good to get some more photos on it and any information. Underneath looks like there was some issue.

Can you tell us the condition of the underside of the car? Where are any rust spots? Thank you
Bid in the amount of $10,000
@Peabo Thank you for your inquiry. The front seats were "stained" by the previous owner and the coating was applied over the red piping. The back jump seats are original. The tires will need to be replaced by the new owner. The engine and transmission were rebuilt to stock--no upgrades. The engine has only about 250 miles on it since this improvement. Feel free to contact me with any further questions.
I notice the back seats have the red piping but not the front. Were they changed or reupholstered?
Also i see the tires are date code 2009 and 2014.
Was the engine rebuilt to stock or upgraded?
Thank you

The car is in south Carolina or Reno Nevada?
Same question... where in SC is this car located?
Location? Vehicle details says Reno, description says South Carolina. Neat car.
