The Fiat 2000 Spider was the North American version of the Fiat 124 Sport Spider, equipped with an upgraded 2.0L four-cylinder engine. Acquired by the current owner’s husband around 15 years ago as a project car, this Fiat received a repaint in metallic red, and was fitted with new front and rear bumpers, reupholstered front seats, a new convertible top, a luggage rack, and new tires, as well as a recent service including a tune-up, a new distributor cap and ignition rotor, new spark plugs, new ignition control, a new fuel, oil, and air filters, a carburetor rebuild, cleaning of the fuel tank, and topping off of all fluids. Showing just under 32,030 miles on the odometer, this Fiat 2000 Spider is now being offered at auction by the seller based out of California.
The exterior is said to have been repainted in metallic red, and features a tan convertible soft top, which can be raised or lowered while sitting in the vehicle. Equipment includes chrome-accented front and rear bumpers, polished rocker panels, chrome door handles, chrome side mirrors, a chrome windscreen surround, a paint-matched roll bar, and a trunk-mounted luggage rack. The seller reports the exterior could greatly benefit from a thorough detailing, images showing the condition of the paint are provided in the gallery. The 13” silver Speedline wheels are mounted with Prodigy Radial SBR tires with unknown date codes.
The front bucket seats have been reupholstered in cream-colored leather with red piping, along with a matching center console and shift boot, matching door panels, and a contrasting black dashboard with wood grain trim. Amenities include roll-up windows, a locking glove compartment, vent windows, an aftermarket carbon fiber-style shift knob, an aftermarket Kenwood stereo headunit, and upgraded aftermarket speakers. The seller notes a tear below the passenger side glovebox, the key for the trunk has been lost, and the lens for the analog clock has become cloudy.
The Fiat 2000 Spider is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder with Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection, and produced up to 101 HP when new. The rear wheels are driven by a 5-speed manual transmission. In July 2022, MC Garage of Gardena, California performed a tune-up, and installed a new distributor cap and ignition rotor, new spark plugs, new ignition control, new fuel, air, and oil filters, rebuilt the carburetor, cleaned the fuel tank, and topped off all fluids. The seller notes some light leaking from the radiator cap.
This sale will include a clean title and a repair manual.

@wilkins Please bid to your comfort level.
@wilkins Hi, I’m not a mechanic, but I was not informed of any issues. To the best of my knowledge it’s fine.
@Fredo Hi, the car does Not have AC, but the convertible top rolls down easily.
Does it have A/C?
Since the carburetor has been rebuilt I'll assume that the line "The Fiat 2000 Spider is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder with Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection..." is not accurate.
Bid in the amount of $1,500

@Chupee ,
Hi, it appears to have heavy duty bolts securely on it. It's quite sturdy, not moving at all, can only take pics of front bolts. I'll try to upload pics.
How is the rollbar attached? thx
Hello and welcome, I know the lucky person to buy this car will enjoy it for years to come. Lots of fun rides!
