@Deanster Sorry not to have any undercarriage photos. It is clean with no evidence of rust. Happy to provide if it would make a difference.
@CaptCoyote You spoke correctly for me. This car lived in Ohio where Ziebart was the king of rust protection. 1977 was the first year for Porsche to introduce its rust protection in the fabrication process. Again this car has no rust and the underside of the car is clean.
@Joesnovak The photos show the original 5 blade fan which can make the car run hot. This was a Porsche engineering decision to reduce emissions by running the car at a higher temperature. All the valve covers have been replaced with the upgraded reinforced covers to prevent future issues with the seals.
@Joesnovak Happy to say that there are no rust areas and no bubbling of the paint from inside the panels.
@prl Happy to say there is no rust in that area and is solid. I can provide photos at a later date.

Pictures of the battery area and under car would really be great...
@CaptCoyote Sir you are correct
I had a 73 E with those plugs from undercoating it was very common in cold winter states. In theory they worked sometimes to create more rust because crap would get behind the undercoating and create rust from the inside of the panel cavities
@dzadik your correct in saying that.
But mid year cars as most know have many issues with the engine.
Not this car because low miles. But they have thermo reactors, poor fan housing, no pressure feeds, and bad value covers most enthusiasts have replaced. So long term this needs figured into the price. Basically the car had a tendency to over heat

@prl Good morning. I’m 65 now, and probably should not answer for the seller of this beautiful Porsche, but I live in New England, where I started driving my own cars back in 1973. If I am not mistaken, that is a plastic “plug“ for the hole drilled into the sills to apply rust proofing. Ziebart, Rusty Jones, etc.....back in the day, used to do this as a way to prevent the cancer that took my first car, a 1970 Datsun 240z. i hope I didn’t misspeak for the Seller.....good luck to both !
what is the red sticker above the vin tag in the door jamb ?

@witz Happy to use some Armor All or oil to shine it up and take another set of photos if that is what it takes. Just thought a 43 year old car should look authentic. This is what it is and I wanted to represent it for what it truly is. This is a low milage 43 year old Porsche 911S that has seen more time in the garage than the sunshine, rain, snow, and pavement. Happy Shopping!
Gents, If you are looking for an old world example of what Porsche produced 43 years ago this is the car. This 1977 Porsche 911S with low milage is a simple, smooth, everyday driver, spartan example that your wife/girlfriend/kids will love as much as you will for what it truly is. A Classic Sports Car! It is not loud, not super fast, and not hard on the tail bone. However it is a simple drivable classic Porsche for your "date nights", solo fresh air evening drives, or early morning runs to Dunkin Donuts with the kids, that people in the know will notice! Spring is in the air! Happy shopping!
@Deanster I do not have those photos but am happy to provide if needed for a sale. All I can say is that there is no rust or major damage under the car. It is a very clean 43 year old example of what Porsche produced as its first sink coated rust prevention car.
@prl Zebart was a undercoating company in the midwest "rust belt" area where road salt was plentiful. This car lived in Ohio but shows no signs or history of being driven in the snow.
