Produced from 1976 to 1979, the first-generation Seville was Cadillac’s response to the increased demand for luxury cars and was the first American mass-produced car equipped with electronic fuel injection as standard. The Seville features unibody construction and is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. This 1977 example is finished in Cotillion White over a red leather interior and has been meticulously maintained under the care of two owners. This Seville is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.

Finished in Cotillion White with a matching fabric roof, this Seville features Twilight sentinel headlights, a powered antenna, as well as chrome bumpers, mirrors, and body moldings. It rides on 15” wire wheels wrapped in Hankook Optima white wall tires and additional features include dual side pinstripes. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The cabin is upholstered in red leather with wood grain trim, and matching carpets and floor mats. It features power-adjustable front seats, a steering column-mounted gear selector with a tilting and telescoping two-spoke steering wheel, delay windshield wipers, power-adjustable mirrors, automatic climate control, cruise control, a rear window defogger, and an electric trunk release with power trunk closure. Other options include illuminated sun visors and an AM/FM stereo with an 8-track player. The rear side passengers benefit from C-pillar-mounted reading lights. The seller notes that the clock is no longer functioning, however, all other gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to work as intended, with no warning lights present.

Powered by an Oldsmobile-derived 350ci V8 engine with Bosch fuel injection, the Seville sends up to 180 HP to its rear wheels by way of a 3-speed TH-400 Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission. The seller reports recent maintenance to include an oil, filter, and coolant service, along with the replacement of the windshield washer pump, the headlight and high beam switches, the instrument cluster bulbs, the wiper blade inserts, and the exhaust hangers. Additional work performed includes repairing the air conditioning vents, recharging the air conditioning system, repairing wiring to the wiper motor, adjusting the drive belts, repairing the rear bumper trim, cleaning the windshield washer nozzles, and reinstalling the battery.

This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a spare tire, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “This Seville drives as good as it looks. With the exception of the clock, everything works including the original radio and the antenna. The air conditioning blows hard through the center of the vents and blows cold. It starts right up with a twist of the key and idles smoothly. This Seville does everything it's supposed to do and is ready for its new home.”

@PEDIGREE11 I agree with you that value is always perceived but that would mean you're presenting this car in almost rotisserie condition, is that correct? I've have not had the pleasure of seeing it in person as I live in AZ so I can only go off photos. It does look to be in amazing shape. I have been following your auction, I wish you luck and am disappointed I can't add this to my collection of Caddy's.
    Thank you for your response.
    All the best

@boxsteraz2008 we specialize in these cars. We only buy the best and service them so they are turn key for the new owner. We generally sell them on the mid 30’s. While Hagerty is accurate on the valuation on some cars, on others they are way off. They base their values on auction results. There are not many auctions that have Sevilles.

  • PEDIGREE11 (seller) 1 month, 4 weeksago

@Pilatus the title shows as exempt as many classics do….. however, upon inspection of the car, there is no doubt that the miles are actual. Just simple things like looking at the wear on the outer bolsters of the leather, or the pedals, or the seals, will verify that. I should point out, the car is available for inspection for anybody who would like to personally view it prior to bidding.
