A former California car, this 1975 Porsche 914 2.0 is finished in Ancona Blue Metallic and features an air-cooled engine rebuilt by Porsche specialist Jake Raby. The car has undergone extensive refurbishment including new suspension, front wheel bearings, brakes, inner door panels, carpeting, trim pieces, and more. Said to have traveled less than 1k miles on its rebuilt motor, this 914 2.0 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Pennsylvania.
This 914 came factory-finished in Ancona Blue Metallic (L97B) and was completely repainted at some point during prior ownership. Rubber molding and trim pieces have been replaced throughout the vehicle and matching black “PORSCHE” lettering were added to the rocker moldings. Equipment includes pop-up headlamps, a removable black roof panel, a driver’s side mirror, and late-model safety bumpers with integrated rectangular front fog lights. The four-lug 15” wheels are mounted with Yokohama tires showing approximately 75% tread remaining. Additional images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin has been refreshed with new black carpeting, door panels, and seats with blue cloth inserts. Accessories include a Porsche-crested gear knob, an aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel, and an optional center console ahead of the shifter that holds additional gauges for oil pressure, temperature, and battery voltage.
The 2.0-liter flat-four engine is said to have been professionally rebuilt by Jake Raby and is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission with an upgraded short shifter. Recent service included new front wheel bearings, new suspension components, carburetor adjustment, a new starter motor, brakes, spark plugs, a throttle pedal, and connecting rod.
This sale will include a clean title.

@ebuyauto Per Jake the marking would be on the actual engine case and not the tins per photos provided. your audio description lists a builder in Nother Cal that relocated to Chicago . that sounds more like another builder in the the 914 community and not Jake who was in Southern Cal and relocated to Georgia.
@Coto914 If posted pics not correct please give more specific location of tag or stamp. Called jake raby a few months ago to get docs but was unable to pull up by vin alone & needed original owners info from rebuild about 10 yrs +/-ago
@ebuyauto Okay, except your video description of engine work and your written description of engine work done do not coincide so it's hard to justify an elevated price for bidding.
@ebuyauto Just posted pics I think what u looking for. BID ACCORDINGLY
@Coto914 Just posted pics. Bid accordingly.

If this is our engine it will have a RAT serial number on top of the case. If this does not exist, then it is not my engine.

Bid in the amount of $2,500
Hmmm. Not seeing any videos. Am I missing a link somewhere?
@550bryan No idea but the jake rabby $10k tebuild upgrade is a dual carb set up & performs much better than original. SEE VIDEOS
@machampshire Yes correct..thx
Should the motor builder possibly be Jake Raby instead of Jack Raby??
Love the color, but didn't a 75 914 come with full injection? This looks like it has been changed to carbs and if so deserves a fuller explanation. GLWTS
