Finished in Sahara paint over a tan leatherette interior, this 1974 BMW 2002 is equipped with a 2.0-liter M10 inline-four engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. It was sold new from Global Imports of Atlanta, Georgia, and has been modified with Lucas front driving lights, 13” BWA Milano wheels, a three-spoke Nardi steering wheel, and a Weber carburetor. Accompanied by original owner’s manuals and a dealer-stamped maintenance booklet, this classic BMW is now being offered for auction out of Tennessee.
This 2002 is finished in Sahara with polished bumpers and exterior trim, a driver’s side mirror, pop-out rear quarter windows, a sunroof, Lucas driving lights, dual exhaust tips, and aftermarket 13” BWA Milano wheels. The seller notes the tires are dated from 2003 and a chip can be seen on the passenger-side windshield. Additional images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin features tan leatherette upholstery with matching carpets contrasted by a black dashboard and center console. Accessories include a woodgrain instrument surround, a three-spoke wood-trimmed Nardi steering wheel, a wood gear knob with a BMW emblem, coco floor mats, a heater, and a vintage aftermarket Craig cassette stereo. The seller notes a crack on the dashboard and the hazard lights do not stay on when activated.
Power comes from a 2.0-liter M10 inline-four engine factory-rated at 125 HP and 127 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 4-speed manual gearbox. The engine has been upgraded with a Weber carburetor and the original carburetor is said to accompany the sale. The seller states a full service was completed under previous ownership about 6 months ago and the car has been driven sparingly ever since.
This sale will include original owner’s manuals, sales literature, a spare tire, and a clean title.

Have asked seller several times to contact me. No response. Guess not interested in discussing this car.

I don't have a lift at the dealership but it is consistent with the rest of the car. It looks great for the age of the vehicle and is without rust.

Hello everyone, Sorry for the mix up on the webers. There is no rust or bubbles in the paint. This is an incredible survivor and mostly original. Please review the photos and videos of this ready to go 2002.
Is there any rust anywhere or bubbles in the paint? Thank you, Michael
The listing has been corrected to read a single Weber carburetor.
Auction states two Webers fitted; only see one? Original paint? Maintenance history/documents?
Nice looking 02. It states that are dual Weber carbs. Doesn't look like dual carbs. Looks like it has the Weber replacement carb which is an upgrade.
