As the 1960s pony car wars developed, the Mustang’s GT trim level was discontinued in favor of the new Mach 1 model and could be ordered with several powertrain configurations. This 1973 example is powered by a 351ci V8 engine equipped with a QuickFuel four-barrel carburetor and paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Benefitting from a refurbishment under the previous ownership, it comes refinished in Bright Red over black vinyl upholstery and features an Edelbrock intake manifold, a dual scoop hood, power steering, front bucket seats, a push-button AM/FM stereo, and more. This Mach 1 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada.
Featuring a "SportsRoof" fastback body style, this Mach 1 has been refinished Bright Red as part of its refurbishment. Details include a contrasting black-out dual scoop hood, body-color front bumper and side mirrors, dual exhaust outlets, black side stripes, “Mach 1” graphics, and a rear spoiler. It rides on 15” Magnum 500-style wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-lettered tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The interior features front bucket seats and a fold-down rear bench upholstered in black vinyl, complemented by red accent stripes. It has a center console, a Hurst shifter, an analog clock, front shoulder belts, and a push-button AM/FM stereo. The center stack-mounted auxiliary instrumentation includes gauges for oil pressure, amperage, and coolant temperature. All gauges and electronics are reported to be in proper working order with no warning lights illuminated.
Power comes from a 351ci V8 engine equipped with a QuickFuel four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, Ford Racing valve covers, an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, and a dual exhaust system with Pypes mufflers. The rear wheels are driven through a 5-speed manual transmission rebuilt by Jasper Engine & Transmission and a 9” rear axle.
This sale will include a clean title.

@nobrakes It's a Cleveland, you can tell by the water inlet from the radiator.
VERY pretty car. Do the hubcaps come with the car? GLWTS.
@needanothercar will try to get some undercarriage images up later today I have a few brokers that can assist or provide you details on importation process back to the US. ( straight forward process on this car)
@Kartrdad Thanks for the ac reply, photo 161 had a AC sticker on radiator so I thought it may have ac.. Any photos of the underside? What is age of Tires? Have you any experience with custom broker since the car was originally registered in US, this will make sale to US customer faster.
A Marti Report costs $50 and will tell you which engine is in the car. And it can be emailed to you within a few days before the auction ends. There is a value bump in a Cleveland over a Windsor.
@needanothercar no AC on this car
@nobrakes No Marti report running a 351 V8 Accel Ignition QuickFuel 4 barrel Carb Edlebrock intake manifold and an aluminum Rad with dual electric fans
Is there a Marti Report for the car? Is the engine a 351 Cleveland or Windsor?
Morning Yes this car was previously registered in the US
I will have a check on the air conditioning
Was this car ever registered in the US? Does the passenger seat recline, or does it remain in a stationary vertical position? AC work?
Is the 5 speed transmission original to the car?
