This 1969 Porsche 911T Coupe has been modified with updated G-Series bodywork. The car is finished in red over a gray interior and features a Turbo-style whale tail rear spoiler, 15” cookie cutter wheels, aftermarket bucket seats, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a 901 manual transaxle, and a 914/6-sourced 2.0-liter flat-six engine. This 911T was imported from France to Canada in the early 1990s and where it is now being offered for auction.
This non-sunroof 911T Coupe has been converted with a G-Body steel rear quarters, rockers, bumpers, and front fenders. The exterior has been refinished in red from its original Bahama Yellow color and features a chrome driver’s side mirror, a fender-mounted antenna, an early Turbo-style whale tail spoiler, European-spec rear bumperettes, and silver 15” cookie cutter wheels. The seller notes the original F-Body front latch panel has been retained. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The gray interior features aftermarket bucket seats, a wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel, a Porsche-crested gear knob, an aftermarket stereo, a heater, and analog VDO gauges. Wear is present on the gear knob. All gauges are said to be working properly.
Power comes from a 914/6-sourced 2.0-liter flat-six engine equipped with Weber carburetors. A 901 manual transaxle delivers power to the rear wheels and stopping power comes from disc brakes at all four corners. The seller indicates the fluids have been replaced in preparation for sale. Engine compression test results as well as engine running videos are provided in the gallery.
This sale will include a Canadian vehicle registration.
The seller would like you to know: "A nice driver-quality vintage 911."

@RotesAuto I think they are both special in their own right. The engine for being one of the last 2L made being from the last year of the 914/6 and the rarest of them 260 units in 1972 0f 3300 total production.
As for the car, the original color is very special also the fact that despite the modifications the car seems to be unmolested (no accidents)

The engine is more special than the car!
@archstanton It was a very common trend in the 80s, similar to the back dating nowadays. 911 owners wanted the look of the more modern 911 with the big wing and the more modern bumpers. This F-Body was converted but the good news is that the front valance was not modified(pic 91). Instead, the long hood was modified and was shortened by repositioning the hood latch on the hood (pic 73).
Never knew F to G conversions were a thing. I guess that, to quote the very unfortunate Mason Verger, it seemed
like a good idea at the time.

A lot of questions regarding the importation to the US, so i will answer again here:
I can assist with the shipping for a reasonable cost, door to door, open trailer.
As for the importation process, here is the break down of the cost:
1-Import taxe 2.5% of the final sales value
2-Broker fees +\-500$ or you can do the paperwork yourself and save the broker fees
3-You can come pick up this 911 within a month(free storage) or we can assist with the shipping quote.. I can do the transport myself within 2000kms radius. I can also assist with the brokerage or even meet the buyer at the borders .. I have done it many times.

@heybusti Extremely easy.. It is a 25+year old car so essentialy the best case scenario for an import to the USA. 2.5% duties and a few hundred dollars for the customs broker, or you fill your own paperwork and you save the broker fees.

What does it take to bring this car into the US? Particularly into Florida. Difficult?
@Cmohr56 You are right. A lot of the F-body cars received such modifications in the 80s. The silver lining is that those modifications might have helped keeping them alive and driven on the roads.
Maybe it is time for this Ketchup (Red) to turn into a Mustard (Bahama Yellow), one of the warmest yellows offered by Porsche.
