An American automotive icon, the El Camino was adapted from the standard two-door Chevrolet station wagon featuring a cab and cargo bed integrated into the body. A lifelong California car, this 1970 example has been refinished in navy blue and features blacked-out bumpers, a reupholstered vinyl bench seat, new carpeting, and an upgraded 350ci V8 crate engine with a high-rise intake manifold, and Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and a 3-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission. This El Camino is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
This El Camino features custom navy-blue paintwork with contrasting black rally stripes. The exterior has been color-sanded and the brightwork, door handles, rear bed, trim, and bumpers have been refinished in black. It rides on 15” magnum-style wheels dressed in BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires.
The black interior has been refurbished with a dashboard cap, a reupholstered vinyl bench seat, and new carpeting. Accessories include a black two-spoke steering wheel, lap belts, an aftermarket cassette radio, manual roll-up windows, and under-dash auxiliary gauges.
The original small-block V8 has been replaced with a 350ci V8 crate engine rated at 345 HP. The engine has been fitted with a high-rise intake manifold, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and a Crown air cleaner. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 3-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission. The seller states the engine has driven less than 400 miles since installation.
This sale will include a clean title.

Welcome to this auction , this is a nice rust free California car with new crate engine and turbo hydromatic 3 speed .You do not need an electronic diagnosis to own and maintain this car if you have spark at the points and gas when push the throttle it runs no mysteries like in new cars .anyone with high school auto shop experience would make this car go especially with a new crate engine. Also every year you own this car it will be more valuable being that it’s a classic. A new car devalues to half after several years. You do not need to plug it in it will always get you to where your going in style.
