This 1968 Volkswagen Beetle custom roadster comes finished in blue over a blue interior. One of the most recognized cars in automotive history, the Beetle has left its mark on the automotive world and popular culture more broadly. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey.
This Beetle was stripped down to its frame during its restoration and was subsequently modified to accept a custom Ford pickup bed. It comes finished in a patinaed shade of blue with custom decals on both doors. The seller states has supplied detailed images including several of the restoration process which can be found in the gallery. Other details include dual outlet exhausts, projector headlights, font trunk straps, and a set of black finished wire wheels with chrome center caps and Coker Bias Ply whitewall tires.
The custom cabin features dual front bucket seating with the bottom portion upholstered in brown leather. The door panels are covered in brown carpet and the floors are lined with sound-deadening material. Amenities include custom cup holders, a sound system, a push-button starter, a three-spoke steering wheel, and a body-colored dashboard. The seller confirms that all gauges, electronics, and accessories remain functional.

@Donf hi there are no issues with the car. There are flashers but no parking brake but it can be installed easily. Also in the state of NJ we only have to rest the car, there is no requirement for inspection for a vehicle over 25 years old. You would have to check with your state on their rules.
Any issues/problems getting it inspected or registered?…Does it have a parking brake and emergency flashers?
@Donf yes the title is clean
Very cool! Do you have a clean title? Thanks

This is really cool! It has a very limited range of use, no side marker lights makes it hard to drive after dark. Maybe put a bimini top on!
