This 1966 Chevrolet C10 features a short bed configuration and underwent a frame-off restoration in 2016 under previous ownership, featuring a blue and white repaint over reupholstered seating, a refreshed interior with sandblasted and repainted dash and cabin, and a factory-specific instrument cluster. Upgraded with a 350ci V8 engine, it featuresa 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, a four-row Champion aluminum radiator with an auxiliary electric fan, a dual exhaust system, front disc brakes, 15” steel wheels, an Out of Sight Bluetooth stereo with two kick space speakers, and more. This restored C10 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
As part of its comprehensive frame-off restoration, this example was refinished in its factory-specified Custom Cab selection of GM Light Blue (507) and White (521). Chevrolet lettering adorns the tailgate, and a satin clear finish has been added to the body for a distinctive patina look. All side trim is said to remain original to the truck, featuring the last-year bar and chain tailgate style, along with a chrome-plated latch system with a carabiner-style hook attached to a black rubber strap. The custom bed floor showcases black panels with blue-painted metal bed strips, while the wheel wells and sidewalls are coated in a textured black finish. It rides on 15” steel wheels wrapped in a set of Nexen tires, which the seller notes are in good condition. The seller reports no rust, dings, or dents, though there are a few minor 1/16” paint chips. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin has been completely redone with new carpets, seat covers, and sun visors, while the dash and cab were sandblasted and repainted. The bench seats have been reupholstered in blue vinyl with horizontal stripes and gray accents on the sides, and a restored instrument cluster with a factory tachometer has been fitted alongside an Out of Sight Bluetooth stereo with two kick space speakers. Originally equipped with air conditioning, it was fitted with an updated system that uses the original air conditioning vents and an additional vent under the dash, delivering cool air, though the seller notes the air is not very cold.
Power comes from a small-block 350ci V8 engine driving the rear wheels through a 4-speed 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive. It is equipped with a four-row Champion aluminum radiator with an auxiliary electric fan, and stopping power is facilitated by front disc and rear drum brakes with a dual circuit power braking system.
This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a sales brochure, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a rare short bed, big back window, factory air conditioned truck. It was originally a Georgia truck. It had a total frame off restoration in 2016 and has been extremely reliable since. I purchased it just after it was restored in Deland, Florida but before it was fully sorted. I shipped it to Maine, where I spent a summer getting it sorted out and then drove it from Maine to Florida where it has been ever since. Gets thumbs up wherever it goes. It drives great with no issues. Thank you.”
