The Bentley S2 was introduced in 1959 as the successor to the original Bentley S-Type. This righthand drive 1961 example is said to have been used as a limousine from 2012 to 2014 and was acquired by the seller in August of 2021. It has been refinished in white and received an engine swap from a later Rolls-Royce at some point during the prior ownership. This Bentley S2 is now being offered at auction by the seller in California.

The body is finished in white with chrome front and rear bumpers, Lucas driving lights, an antenna, front vent windows, and a “flying B” hood ornament. The seller reports some minor flaws throughout the bodywork and some pitting on the chrome trim. Detailed images are provided in the gallery. The 15” steel wheels are mounted with Goodyear whitewall tires.

The cabin is upholstered in red Connolly leather with matching door panels and carpeting. Burl wood trim spans the dashboard and extends to the upper door panels and folding rear picnic tables. Accessories include air conditioning, power windows, a dash-mounted mirror, a locking glove box, Smiths instrumentation, and an aftermarket Kenwood stereo head unit. The seller reports some wear throughout the interior including some creasing of the leather and worn-through carpeting on the driver’s side footwell.

This Bentley S2 received a replacement engine from a later-model Rolls Royce featuring MSD electronic ignition and a Facet electronic fuel pump. The rear wheels are driven by a 4-speed automatic transmission. The seller reports all fluids were exchanged upon their acquisition.
