While this helmet does not have any documentation accompanying it to prove its authenticity, it has patina and period-correct labels to prove when it is from. I am not making any claims of its authenticity, however, considering its patina and timeframe it is from, it is possible and would make sense. Regardless, it is a beautiful helmet and excellent display piece/ conversation starter. I am happy to accept your offer and pass it off to a new home :)
