This 1957 Porsche 356A Speedster 1600 Super replica was created during the 1990s by Fiberfab, an American manufacturer credited for some of the most iconic kit cars produced from the late 1960s through the early 2000s. This Speedster replica is titled as a 1990 Porsche in the state of Washington and derives power from an air-cooled 2,275cc motor. Benefitting from an engine overhaul, this Speedster replica is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Washington.
The car’s fiberglass bodywork is finished in Black with a matching retractable soft top and features chrome brightwork and bumper guards, mesh headlight grilles, a polished driver’s side mirror, quad exhaust tips, Porsche Speedster badging, a removable luggage rack, and yellow-tinted front fog lamps. It rides on a set of 15” slotted chrome wheels with Porsche-crested hubcaps and mixed tires. The exterior finish is described by the seller to be in very good condition while noting some imperfections on the front end, detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is trimmed in black upholstery with matching carpets, a painted dashboard, and authentic Porsche 356 seats. Accessories include a three-spoke wood-rimmed steering wheel, performance non-slip pedal covers, a Bugpack trigger shifter, black and tan Coco floor mats, a cabin wind deflector, a black tonneau cover, Crow lap belts, USB charging ports, and an under-dash Kenwood stereo. The seller notes a genuine 356 gauge set was installed by the previous owner and the car is believed to have been driven approximately 10k miles more than what is currently shown on the odometer, although the true mileage remains unknown.
Power comes from an air-cooled 2,275cc flat-four engine with dual carburetors and a custom exhaust system. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 4-speed manual transmission. The engine is said to have been overhauled by a technician in California and the chassis features a rear sway bar as well as four-wheel disc brakes.
This sale will include a clean title.

nicely done.......who did the motor? I'd love to own this replica! Beautiful driver!
With the roll-up windows and different (from a Speedster) windshield frame, it appears this car is a convertible D rather than a Speedster.
