The Delage DMN, the final iteration of the DM series, is distinguished by its Figoni-designed coachwork and timeless design, with only 897 examples produced. This 1929 example underwent a full restoration in 1999 and is refinished in blue over a black interior. Powered by a 3,181cc overhead-valve straight-six engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission, it features a raked windshield, flowing fenders, beam axle front suspension with semi-elliptic leaf springs, and drum brakes. As previously listed on PCARMARKET, this DMN is now being offered for auction once again by its seller out of Canada.
This example was refinished in blue with body-color fenders as part of a comprehensive nut-and-bolt restoration. It features a black soft top, a raked windshield and wind wings, flowing fenders, and running boards. Additional details include dual side mirrors, chrome headlight housing, fender-mounted turn signals, taillights, and a horn. It rides on black-finished wire-spoke wheels wrapped in tires with approximately 90% tread life remaining, while a spare is mounted at the forward edge of the passenger side. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The right-hand-drive cabin offers front bucket and rear bench seats upholstered in black leather, complemented by black-trimmed door panels and black carpeting. A wood-trimmed dashboard sits behind a four-spoke steering wheel and houses a speedometer, ammeter, fuel-level gauge, and a Jaeger clock. All gauges and accessories are reported to be in proper working order.
The 3,181cc overhead-valve straight-six engine, factory-rated at 62 HP, powers the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission. The suspension consists of semi-elliptical leaf springs with hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and a live axle with leaf springs at the rear. Mechanical drum brakes on all four corners facilitate braking, while steering is managed through a worm-and-nut or worm-and-roller steering box.
This sale will include a toolkit, a spare tire, and a clean title.
