The outlaw up for auction started life as a 1980 930 Turbo and was completely transformed into the backdated 911 RSR Turbo you see today. The current owner/seller purchased the car while in the build process. His goal was to complete a high quality backdate without disrupting the soul of the original car. The decade long project was recently completed, featuring its original factory turbo body and an abundance of RSR upgrades. The seller purchased the car from the previous owner who began the build in New Jersey with under 30K original miles. He transported the RSR to Florida where the work was completed. Since completion, the RSR has been stored in a climate-controlled garage.
This RSR received a high quality repaint in its original factory color of Light Blue Metallic. The vehicle's paint is stated to be in exceptional condition and fits the build extremely well. All steel was used for the RSR backdate including the addition of a stock hood extension (to Long Hood). An RSR front bumper, iconic ducktail, and Turbo rocker panels were also installed. The RSR sits on 15x9 and 15x11 Fuch Designed wheels, mounted on Michelin TB15 Racing tires, creating the intimidating RSR stance. Rear window frames from a 1968 911 were installed including the fully functioning rear window pop outs. The seller states that only minor chips and very little patina exist on the vehicles paint.
The magnificent bespoke Rust and Black leather interior complements the Light Blue Metallic paint. The seller states that the scent of Italian leather still remains in the car. Upon opening the door, you will notice custom Turbo door sills, leather wrapped GT Classics seats, and a Balsa custom fitted leather wrapped roll bar. A set of REPA Italian 4 point harnesses along with stock seat belts were installed. This build was also tastefully finished with full leather RS door panels, Berber carpeting, period correct coco mats, MOMO Prototipo Steering Wheel, and a vintage wood shift knob.
Power comes from a numbers matching 3.3L twin turbo six cylinder engine that produces 345HP. A custom exhaust system and new headers were installed. The transmission is also noted to have been completely rebuilt and shifts very smooth. In true RSR fashion, the radio and speakers have been deleted.
The seller reports that the following service items have recently been addressed at Porsche of Jacksonville:
The seller states the car is stated to be in perfect running condition.
This unique and well built RSR backdate will include records of work performed, books, and keys.

TURBO RSR based from a real Turbo body! This has to be the sickest all around backdate's I've seen. Sounds insane. I hope the new owner lives near Dallas. Would love to see it live at a local event... maybe get a ride.

@harrissnodgrass we met at Amelia this year. I am the guy with the Lime Green Outlaw with Orange Carrera Stripes. Your car is one of the few that I have seen that really got me thinking about trading mine. I might have to watch and jump in unless you want to work a trade, but PCarmarket probably doesn't want that.
Nevertheless, fellow PCarmarket viewers, this 911 is once of the very finest. You could have told me it was a Singer and I would have believed you. It has been executed to a very high standard and the new owner will get getting a beauty of an Outlaw, Backdate or whatever you want to call it.

a Turbo RSR backdate? Very freakin cool! I think the color combo sets it off real nicely as well. I’ll be watching this one for sure. Glwa
@harrissnodgrass Seller,
Thank you for the reply and info.. Yes, good looking and I bet a blast to drive !
@sportscarguy3 Thanks! The car is really pretty, and has been a blast getting to know and work through. I had it at Werks and it drew a pretty major crowd, with no real criticism, which I thought was pretty cool for a "hot rod".
1. The door Handles (interior), as well as door card "accessories" are all milled out of aluminum. They are really nice. The actual pulls are made of leather, which protrude out of the Aluminum Trim piece.
2. Working on video, had trouble uploading what I had, the new iphone films in 4k and it is such a large file, I need to film it smaller.
Floor Mats- The previous owner chose this berber look. While it isn't my favorite either, the fit and finish is decent, and it looks pleasant. Coco Mats are hit or miss for people, I like them because I grew up around them!
Hello, What a great looking Porsche ! Well done.
A question and comment.
1. The door handles ( pulls ) they look to be metal ? advise please.
2. Video... Please... a slower walk around at idle. Perhaps a start up and slow drive away.
such a great sounding motor ( from what I could hear ) stoked to hear more !
Thank you
PS. the floor mats ... carpet or mats ( not my fav and would want to replace ) ?
Good luck excellent presentation !
Hello Guys. Excited to see how this process works. Any questions you have about the car, I will do my best in answering! Cheers.
