We are pleased to offer this 1957 Chevrolet Corvette pedal car by Gary L. Harp of Pedal Classics. The introduction of the 1957 Corvette "fuelie" with a fuel-injected 283ci V8 engine marked the birth of one of the most iconic and sought-after sports cars in American automotive history. Officially licensed by Chevrolet, this 1/3 scale replica was handcrafted by Pedal Classics in California during the mid-1990s using a one-piece fiberglass construction over a computer-designed powder-coated tubular steel frame. It was developed in close coordination with Chevrolet and one of these models is on permanent display at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
As offered on the actual Corvette in 1957, this pedal car comes finished in Cascade Green acrylic enamel paint. Exterior features include triple chrome brightwork, adjustable rearview mirrors, two-piece steel wheels with detailed chrome hubcaps and functional knockoffs, rubber Firestone pneumatic whitewall tires, and functional lighting powered by two D batteries mounted beneath the dashboard. Inside, you will find an accurate representation of the Corvette’s instrumentation reproduced using bright chrome and multicolor high precision silk screening. Hardware includes brass front wheel bushings and ball-type rear wheel bearings as well as a fully functional pedal drive system and steering linkages. A beautifully crafted and officially licensed representation of America’s favorite sports car, this 1957 Corvette pedal car is just waiting for a new home.
This model measures approximately 49.5” long by 21” wide and 16.5” high at the top of the windshield. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.
