Available for auction is a collection of 8 vintage stopwatches consisting of 3 Heuer, 2 Meylan, 1 Hanhart, 1 Sportsman, and 1 Apollo. According to the seller, all of the watches are running properly but are untested for accuracy. They are in excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age and use. They can be removed from the display plaque and mounted on a dashboard with the plate and or the clips. The collection is composed of the following stopwatches:
2 Heuer: The first is a 1/10 second timer finished in stainless with a black rim. It has black outer numbers with red numbers on the inner dial. The second is a 1/5 Trackstar model featuring a white outer rim with a very large black center register. Mounted on a metal dash plaque with quick-release clips and the legend ‘Silverstone’ and then mounted on a walnut display plaque.
1 Heuer: An extremely large piece measuring 58.5mm. It has black numbers on the outer dial and red numbers on the inner dial. The case is stainless with a black rim. Mounted on a dash plate with a quick-release clip and the legend ‘Monza’ it is mounted on a walnut display plaque.
1 Hanhart: The ‘SUPER’ model DGM1902490. A 3 button1/5 second split timer is very large measuring 55.3 mm. Mounted on a walnut plaque with the legend ‘Monza’ below.
1 Sportcraft: A 2 button 1/10 second timer it has a stainless body with alternating black and red numbers on the face and a black and red register Placed on a walnut presentation plaque with the engraved legend and map of ‘Circuit De Monaco’
1 Apollo: A 2-button 1/5 second split timer is mounted on a metal dash plate with a quick-release clip and the engraved legend ‘Sebring’ and then on a walnut display plaque.
2 Meylan: The first is a stainless with a black rim Ref 202AD 1/10 timer with the original sticker on the back with the company logo ‘built up to quality not down to a price’. The second is also a 1 1/10 timer ref #32. They are mounted on a unique round dash plate with quick-release clips. Placed on a walnut display plaque with the legend ‘SPA FRANCORCHAMPS’
