Available for auction is a 1930’s cast aluminum Mobil Pegasus, a highly desirable piece of automobilia weighing approximately 25 lbs. and measuring 46” wide by 36” high. Discovered as a barn find, this vintage Pegasus displays a naturally weathered finish with no evidence of rust, repairs, or repainting, and remains in completely original condition as stated by the seller. 
While no manufacturer’s stamps were located, the seller states this is an authentic piece from the 1930’s, offering collectors an excellent opportunity to acquire an example of one of the most iconic symbols in petroleum and automotive history.

@BouncyTach It would be hard for me to say it’s porcelain I’m not sure it doesn’t feel like a shell type of paint. I believe it’s original finish maybe weather worn it was out in the WTX sun for a couple years before I finally got it.

What does the front paint feel like on this?
It should be porcelain. I’m not aware of any other finish choices from that long ago unless they were flat faced and possibly painted over. But it’s strange porcelain would wear like this (white portions smeared and gone. Red spots faded).
