Available for auction is a collection of brand-new OEM Ferrari 360 F131 engine parts. According to the seller, these parts were removed from a brand-new crate engine supplied by Ferrari for a client. Upon the engine build, it was found that the factory had left coolant in the block and heads which had left etching. However, the internals as seen in this listing were left in pristine and untouched condition. The brand-new OEM Ferrari parts in this collection are made of the following:
Pistons and Rings
Rods
Crank
All bearings
Oil sump
Injection Wiring harnesses
Valves
Springs
Cams
Flywheel
Various other parts
These parts make for the perfect setup to buy for any 360 owners with a high mileage motor, or a Challenge Car as they both share the same F131 engine. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.

@Jimbo1907, I too have heard similar things but don’t know specifics. As to the current bid, you are correct, the current bid is about $500 less than price of a single piston and connecting Rod!
If I'm not mistaken, the 360 rotating assembly can be used in earlier Ferrari V8 engines to increase displacement and power. I recall reading about 308 and 328 engines which had that modification. I don't know if they used just the crank, or crank and rods, but I'm pretty sure it was the 360 rotating assembly that was used.
As to the price, right now this is insanely cheap, but it's not going to stay that way.

Hello everyone, I have not received any questions as of yet but if there is anything I can help answer, feel free to ask here in the comments or using the “contact buyer” feature. Thanks and good luck!
@Radstuff, thanks for your compliment, I really appreciate it!
May be their first auction here, but I've done business with ScuderiaSmith before elsewhere and they are very professional.
We have built two custom wooden crates to ship the parts in as well and there is no charge for crates or crating the parts. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and we are glad to assist. We ship all over the world and get great rates.
You will also note that we have marked all the parts as to where they came from in the motor where applicable.
Greetings to all and welcome to my first Pcarmarket auction! I am the owner of Scuderia Smith Motorsports in Plano, TX. I am also known on BAT as Vivian11. If you are active on BAT, you might have seen the F131 360 display motor and stand I sold on BAT a few weeks ago. If not, here is a link to that auction-

This motor started life as a crate motor on BAT and here is that listing-
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/brand-new-ferrari-360-f131-crate-motor-complete
After the original crate motor was sold, the buyer hired my shop to tear it down and freshen it up. When we tore the motor down, we found that the Ferrari factory had somehow managed to leave some coolant in the block and heads which etched some small but risky to repair areas on both heads and the block. While no other areas of the motor were affected, I made the decision to fabricate a custom stand and sell the motor as a display unit.
During the display motor auction, several BAT members requested that I list all the internal motor components in a separate auction. I wanted to do just that so I submitted this listing to BAT and they turned me down. I have zero clue why but here we are!
Every part in this auction is new and has never been installed in a car or running motor. For full transparency, Ferrari crate motors are started at the factory and run to ensure the motor works properly which is an advantage as this group of parts all came from the same crate motor and are balanced.
Please let me know any questions you have either here or through the "contact seller" feature.
Good luck to everyone and thanks for looking!
