Finished in Irish Green over tan genuine leather upholstery, this Porsche 356 Speedster Replica is said to have been hand-assembled by JPS Classics in San Marcos, California, in 2018. The car is powered by a 2,110cc flat-four engine mated to a 4-speed manual transaxle and features a full tubular chassis. Equipment includes low-back bucket seats, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a Bluetooth stereo, German square-weave carpets, four-wheel disc brakes, and front and rear sway bars. Driven less than 5k miles since completion, this Speedster Replica is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Maryland.
This example’s fiberglass bodywork was reportedly finished in Porsche’s iconic Irish Green. Details include a black removable soft top, a boot cover, removable side curtains, fender-mounted mirrors, chrome trim, gold-finished badging, and teardrop-style taillights. It rides on 15” steel wheels with polished hubcaps and Michelin Defender tires measuring 185/65. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
Inside, tan leather upholstery is contrasted with a brown dash pad and door tops, a body-color dashboard, chrome trim, and black square-weave carpeting. Accessories include green-lettered analog instrumentation, a wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel, and a modern stereo with Bluetooth connectivity.
Power is derived from an air-cooled 2,110cc flat-four engine featuring dual EMPI carburetors and an external oil cooler with an electric fan. The rear wheels are driven through a 4-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes four-wheel disc brakes, front and rear sway bars. The seller adds that an oil change was most recently performed in September 2025.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Not all Speedster replicas are created equal, not even all JPS Motorsports replicas are created equal. A process spanning two continents, a lengthy waiting period, a state-of-the-art chassis, a robust standard equipment list, and a hand-assembled finished product is the prime mover in the world of replica Speedsters. This full tubular chassis example finished in Porsche Irish Green with just 4700 miles is a truly exceptional example of the breed. The fit and finish on this JPS Speedster is well represented here with genuine leather coachwork, German square-weave carpets, and Porsche script badging throughout. The 2110cc flat four fed by Empi 44 carbs just feels right in this platform and performs flawlessly. Yanked to stop by four-wheel disc brakes and kept well behaved in corners by front and rear sway bars. The underside photos display a car representative of its low mileage and meticulous ownership. Full tube chassis JPS Motorsports Speedsters are special cars, you can throw down a hefty deposit and get yourself on a year or so long waiting list or you can have one now!”

The car has a clean MD title, we are a dealer so it’s not currently registered.
Is the car registered at the moment in MD?
JPS does not specify any engine builder specifically. The air-cooled type one engines are all new build engines - case to carbs - using high quality components. If you look at the engine number stamp in picture 146 you can see that this was a “blank” case stamped with an engine number by the builder.
Who is the engine manufacturer?
I’ll look into the parking brake modification and report back. Steering wheel is a simple swap.
Im interested in the car. Can the parking brake be relocated under the dash? I know it’s an option but what would be the charge to do it after the fact? Also would like the correct steering wheel. Thanks.
