This 2012 Porsche 997.2 Turbo Cabriolet is one of just 155 examples reportedly produced for the model year, and one of even fewer to have been equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. Finished in Platinum Silver Metallic over Black full leather, the car was further configured with a limited-slip differential, bi-xenon headlights with PDLS, the Sport Chrono Package Turbo with Dynamic Engine Mounts, the Carbon Interior Package, Silver Grey seatbelts, Porsche-crested headrests, heated and ventilated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. Showing approximately 41k miles on the odometer, this rare Turbo is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Oregon.
Sporting wide bodywork, this Turbo wears a Platinum Silver Metallic finish. Options include bi-xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) and colored Porsche-crested wheel center caps, while modifications consist of a carbon fiber rear spoiler wing and diffuser inserts. The factory 19” Turbo II wheels come dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report noting minor damage in December 2021.
Inside, the driver is greeted with Black full leather complemented by the Carbon Interior Package and carbon fiber door entry guards. Additional options include heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, Porsche-crested headrests, Silver Grey seatbelts, a Sport Chrono stopwatch dial, and a SiriusXM satellite radio tuner. An aftermarket Sony head unit with front and rear parking cameras has been fitted. Minor imperfections are noted on the carbon fiber accents.
Factory-rated at 500 HP and 480 lb-ft of torque, the 3.8-liter flat-six engine features direct fuel injection and revised VTG turbochargers. Power is sent to all four wheels through a desirable 6-speed manual transmission and an optional limited-slip differential. The Sport Chrono Package Turbo with Dynamic Engine Mounts was also opted for, and an aftermarket Europipe exhaust has been fitted. A total of 10 service history entries are shown on the CARFAX report.

@Suncoastmotors Carbon pieces include the front grill slats, rear wing, and rear diffuser. No performance mods other than the sharkwerks muffler bypass exhaust. Still has factory cats and will pass SMOG.
@Suncoastmotors DME and paint meter readings should be in the gallery. NOTE: the front end does read higher because there is PPF on the hood, fenders, and bumper.

Can you explain which carbon pieces are factory and which are aftermarket? Any aftermarket performance mods other than the exhaust?
@silvatom The clutch system works as intended with no issue. No pedal difference between being hot and cold. I can't tell you the clutch thickness as you would need to remove the transmission to do that.
Fuel system: this was over 10 years ago... Unfortunately I don't have any info on what happened in that event. However, everything works properly now. Fuel pump is strong and there are no CEL for evap codes or canister issues.
Brakes and tires are perfect. The tires are practically brand new with 2024 date codes. The rotors have no major lips on them and show about 60% life left on the pads.
Sony unit and cameras were installed professionally under the previous owner. This sony unit is very highend and is a $1,000 unit without installation!
Carbon wing fits very well on the back, esspecialy for an aftermarket carbon fiber piece. We do not have the stock wing or diffuser.

Clutch system: any history beyond the 2012 master-cylinder replacement? Current clutch thickness or replacement date? Pedal feel cold vs hot.
Fuel system (2013 event): root cause of the tank drain/clean; any subsequent evap codes or canister replacements?
Tires/brakes & over-rev report: dates, remaining life, and a DME readout (Ranges 1–6). (DME isn’t in the listing but is standard due diligence.)
Aftermarket items: wiring quality for Sony unit & cameras; original PCM unit included? Carbon aero fitment; original spoiler/diffuser included?

@silvatom Unfortunately I have no records of the work that was done during those two visits. The clutch could have been a faulty part from the factory and they had to replace it - we've seen this before. If you have more questions about it, you can try calling the dealership it was serviced at to see if they have insight on it.
Early service in 2012: The report indicates that the battery and clutch master cylinder were replaced, and the clutch system was bled at ~2,000 miles. Do you know why such a major service was required so early? Was this warranty work due to a factory defect or related to driving/usage?
Fuel tank service in 2013: According to the CARFAX report, the fuel tank was drained and cleaned at ~4,000 miles. Can you provide context—was this due to poor fuel quality, long-term storage, or another issue?

@Whatever123 Unfortunately I dont have any physical record of it. My guess would be someone either put the wrong fuel in the car or there was a fuel pump issue.
The minor damage was a bumper repaint. Will be uploading paint meter readings that show the paint thickness on the metal pannels.
