Finished in Meridian Metallic over Metropol Blue interior upholstery, this 2002 Porsche 996 Carrera Cabriolet pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with its 3.6-liter flat-six engine. It was further optioned with 18” Turbo-look wheels, Porsche Stability Management, a body-colored center console, and the Technic, Heated Front Seats, and Power Seat Packages. Showing less than 39k miles on the odometer, this open-top Carrera is now available for auction by the selling dealer out of New Jersey.
This 996 is finished in Meridian Metallic, a seldom-seen shade offered between 2001 and 2006. Equipment includes a Metropol Blue convertible soft top, bi-xenon headlights with washers as part of the Technic Package, and 18” Turbo-look lightweight alloy wheels with colored Porsche crests. New tires were fitted in July 2025, and the seller notes minor paint chips and curb rash. The top is said to have been serviced, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin presents Metropol Blue partial leather with matching floor mats. Additional options include a body-colored rear center console, the Power Seat Package, the Heated Front Seats Package, and the Technic Package which adds an on-board computer, a CD player, and a wind deflector. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order.
The M96 3.6-liter flat-six engine in this Carrera is factory-rated at 320 HP and 273 lb-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission, and stopping is provided by fixed 4-piston brakes with ventilated discs. The seller states the IMS bearing and seal were replaced, a new battery was installed, and a new expansion tank was fitted. Additionally, the CARFAX report shows 25 dealer-performed services.
This sale will include a clean title and service documentation.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a very original car with low miles and 1 owner. All service records from the 1st service till today are included. IMS has been done, and all services are up to date.”

@clo321 A detailed inspection showed no signs of corrosion. We can also try to accommodate a PPI. Please send a message so that we can further discuss.
@mfe2412 The recent service invoice in picture 104 shows the work done for the IMS replacement and also in picture 112 there is the registration sticker from LN Engineering for the bearing. Thanks
Hi, this is a beautiful 996! I am curious, has there been any detailed inspection of the underbody inspection for signs of corrosion? Is it too late to get a PPI?
Do you have documentation on the IMS bearing?
Thanks for your interest in our car. There are no warning lights on.
@Seller Just checking — any warning lights on the dash (like airbag or ABS)? In some states, those can cause a car to fail inspection. Thanks!
Thank you to the bidders and interested parties. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
