Representing the final generation of the air-cooled 911, the Porsche 993 Turbo is one of the most iconic sports cars of its era. This 1996 example is finished in Polar Silver Metallic over a black leather interior and features a 6-speed manual transmission paired with a 408 HP twin-turbocharged flat-six engine. In 2008, it was tastefully modified with Turbo S-derived aerodynamic & performance enhancements, an additional front oil cooler, an upgraded exhaust system, aftermarket bucket seats, a painted roll bar, and extensive carbon fiber interior trim, while the KKK turbochargers were rebuilt by Lindsey Racing in 2009. Reportedly owned by a PCA president and concours judge, this Turbo participated in the 2025 Porsche Parade. It is now being offered for auction, accompanied by detailed service records highlighting various recent maintenance items.
Sporting wide Turbo-specific bodywork, this 993 was reportedly recently refinished in its factory-specified Polar Silver paint. Modifications include OEM Turbo S front and rear spoilers, front brake cooling ducts, and iconic side air inlets. Other equipment includes headlamp washers, an electric sunroof, red Porsche-branded brake calipers, and 18” Technology hollow-spoke wheels with Turbo-script center caps and Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3+ tires. Since 2023, the work included small dent repairs, installation of ceramic window tinting, body refinishing and ceramic coating, wheel repairs and refinishing, replacement of the spare tire, and concours preparation for participation in the 2025 Porsche Parade, resulting in top awards. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report noting minor damage in February 2016.
Inside, the black interior has been customized with front bucket seats, a three-spoke steering wheel, extensive carbon fiber trim, a body-color roll bar, a lightweight footrest, and Coco floor mats. Amenities include a sunroof, driver’s seat lumbar support, cruise control, a Nokia Digital Sound Processing audio system, and a Becker-Porsche stereo. The CARFAX report indicates a potential odometer rollback in March 2016.
The air-cooled, twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six is factory-rated at 408 HP, driving the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The KKK turbochargers were rebuilt by Lindsey Racing in 2009, and earlier work by German Tech in 2008 included a supplemental front oil cooler, a custom exhaust system, and braided stainless steel brake lines. Seals and belts were replaced, and the clutch accumulator was serviced. The seller adds that the ECU mapping was also revised at some point. Since 2023, routine maintenance and fluid services have included oil changes with high-grade 15W50 oil and filter replacements, brake service with calipers, wear sensors, fluid replacement, and corner checks, as well as suspension work with Bilstein PSS-10 coilovers, strut bearings, alignment, and hardware refresh, along with air intake service featuring a K&N air filter replacement. A collection of service records is provided in the gallery.
This sale will include a clean title.

@bphillyer Thank you; appreciated.
1) Regarding the 2.24.2016 non-accident/minor damage cited on the CarFAX, our client advised as follows: "...While working on the Redstone Arsenal Army base I walked to my car and it had a cracked left headlight and crease in the left front wheel lip of the fender, where someone had backed into it. Porsche of Huntsville said I would have to replace the headlight and fender because the fender wheel opening could not be “hammered-out”. Porsche of Huntsville did a good because it was 1st in Class and Gold Gmund at the Lake of the Ozarks Porsche Parade in 2018 and Gold Gmund in this year's Porsche Parade. The ultimate proof of a good repair is winning Concourse Class at Porsche Parade...".
2) PCM specified the hollow spoke option in their write-up. IIRC, the hollow spoke wheels were an option on 1996 993 Turbo's; standard on 1997-1998 993 Turbos. Without seeing the option code, my writeup did not specify hollow spoke wheels -- the wheels are the original wheels.
3) We do not have the original seats; yet I have a source for a set if desired. We do not have the original steering wheel; only the installed RS 3-Spoke RS Steering wheel.
@ehd911 Beautiful car!
1. Please address damage to the front end and left fender dated 2-24-16. What do we know?
2. Photos 248; 277-300: Not seeing evidence of Hollow spoke Technology wheels. Please confirm;
3. Which original parts are included with sale? Seats? Steering wheel?

@ehd911 No, the CF parts are not OEM.
@CarreraX Thank you; appreciated. The CF parts are OEM.
Beautiful car! Is the carbon oem or is it from Marcus? Awesome car!! Wish I could afford it!
@kjd951 The ride height was set to "stock" by Porsche's classic certified technician during their 12.31.24 installation of the new OEM Porsche (Bilstein) coil-over suspension (@ 76,563 miles) -- it can be lowered or adjusted as desired.
@GoYanks99 Will acquire undercarriage photos and upload tomorrow.
hello- amazing looking.
1 question, there is a lot of space between the top of tires and wheel wells-is the ride hgt stock?
Stunning car! Do you have any underside photos? Thank you
@acooper The option codes for the VIN#'s build are defined on the options sticker and on the build sheet , each uploaded to the PCM image gallery -- all 993 Turbo S upgraded components were installed subsequently and are Porsche OEM/factory components, not aftermarket.
@bphillyer There is no valid mileage inconsistency; the 993 Turbo's miles are correct -- the erroneous reference on the CarFAX is due to documented erred reporting by Porsche of Huntsville's service tech -- see logs uploaded to the PCM media gallery:
- Maintenance log w/miles recorded (7) pages
- 1996 993 Turbo Milage Log (4) pages
- 1996 993 Turbo Maintenance Schedule w/miles
- Weekly Mileage logs (4) pages
- Mileage error clarification

@ConnecticutGent The air vents are OEM but they are not factory. This means this car is not a true X79, but rather an aftermarket add on. From the option codes, it looks like the Carbon interior is also not a factory option. True X79 cars will have greater value long-term but these are sure pretty to look at.
Nice Car
Can you address odometer rollback 83,715 to 64,000 on 3-14-16 which appears to have occurred about the same time as the damage to the front and left fender on 2-24-16?
GLWTA
@ConnecticutGent From our client: All Turbo S upgrades are OEM/factory; installed at German Tech by a former Porsche factory technician using Turbo S powerkit components, exhaust system, additional oil coolers, Turbo S AeroKit II brake ducts, front & rear spoilers, etc., to include all of the equipment list of the “Turbo S”, etc., and Alois Ruf recommended this shop and the specific German technician to do the work.

Apologies if this is a silly question - are the side air inlets original from the factory? I believe this was option code "X79" that could be specified for the Turbo and C4S of that era. Thank you for any available insights.
